Ok, so the first thing you need to do is find the files containg the console key. First, hit Start on the bottom left of your desktop. Then click on Computer. Then your hard disk drive (probably called OS(C:)). Then open Program Files (x86) > Steam > SteamApps > common (If you don't see this file, open the file of your username) > Moon Base Alpha > MoonBaseAlphaGame > Config. There should be 20 items in the folder.

Once you have Config open, open up "DefaultInput". It should come up as a Notepad file. At the top, it should say [Engine.Console] and then ConsoleKey=None. Replace "None" with the name of a key that you rarely use, preferably Tilde (~) or TAB. When it looks something like ConsoleKey=Tilde, exit and save the file. Then, open MoonBaseAlphaInput. It should also come up as a Notepad file. Now this is a longer notepad file so you'll want to go to the top and hit Edit and then Find. Search for "ConsoleKey". When you find it, it should say ConsoleKey=None still. Replace "None" with the same thing you did last time. WARNING: If there is anything different between the two ConsoleKeys, Moonbase Alpha will crash every time you try open it up. Once you have done that, exit and save that file.

Once you have changed the ConsoleKey for both files, exit and save them if you haven't already. When you have exited and saved all files and closed out of the folder, boot up Moonbase Alpha. When you get to the main menu, hit the key you put after "ConsoleKey=". If a green box pops up, you have done it correctly.

First thing you need to do when you get in the game is type "allowcheats" into the console and hit enter. This will allow all console cheats to be executed. Here's a list of some of the commands in cheat console that work for Moonbase Alpha:

fly = makes you fly

slomo 20 = makes game speed 10x. You can replace "20" with any number to change the game speed to the desired amount.

ghost = fly but no collisions (you go through everything)

walk = stop fly or ghost

teleport = teleports you to where your cursor is pointed

sabotage = destroys all damaged components

win = wins the game

lose = loses the game

summon rover = spawns a car. You can replace "rover" with hose, toolbox, beacon, etc.

setbind f3 summon rover = makes it so that when you press f3, it will summon a rover. Good if you want to quickly execute a command. You can replace "f3" with any key and "summon rover" with any command.

setname 001 = changes your name to 001. You can replace 001 with anything that is fits on your screen, so it can be pretty long.

fov 170 = changes your field of view to 170. Default is 100.

stat fps = shows frames pers second

These are only a few of the commands that work. Try the rest out.

NOTE: CHEATS DO NOT WORK UNLESS EVERYBODY IN THE GAME HAS ALLOWCHEATS ENABLED. HOWEVER, SETNAME, FOV, AND STAT FPS WORK NO MATTER WHAT.
