no way in hell. wed make it all the dam frequencies so any asholes who wanted to fuck with us, knew we ment buisness.
that mement when you realise physics optimisation and efficiency , ment fuck all cause your part of the human race. and humans care more about immage than efficiency.
big blue laser beam = cool = weak big violot beam = high damage- kills cells, burns electronics = looks "fuck all"
you know dam right wed make the main laser high damage, and have smaller sub lasers on the sides shoot a coloured frequency. for athetics. and tracking.
plasma beam laser, is excited plasma particles, the green is not "far fetched nonsence"
and phaser beams- are a actual reality. cureently in development.
sure infer red, and ultra violt, and all the other "best heat transfering laser frequencies are deadly. but in space buddy there is no friction. or heat.
so the idear lasers are not visable in space, and visable lasers coudlent be effective to destroy things is bullshit.
1. A laser that will do a noticeable amount of damage Will almost NEVER be visible to you.
2. That laser will most likely be using some form of radiation. Which energizes/moves electrons, causing either Heat or giving off Light from the reaction.
3. The closest we've gotten for lasers that can cause reactions similar to this aren't able to be moved, aimed at something, or be used anywhere else but in specific testing facilities. And melt metal for very long time periods on a focused point.
So yeah.. Lasers that have colors and are visible in real life? Not going happen. (And it also gives us an advantage if the enemy can't see where and whats hitting them!)
This thing looks awesome, nuf said
