The Yeti, or the Zombie Yeti, is a rare zombie that requires the encounter of every other zombie. Learn how to find the Yeti and get the achievement Cryptozombologist in this guide!

The Yeti Zombie appears in Level 4-10 of Adventure Mode

Note: You must beat Adventure Mode at least one time before you can find the Yeti. If you have a silver flower/gold flower in the main menu, you have beaten Adventure Mode. You will then have to go through adventure mode again and get to level 4-10 to find him.

Additional Note: After you find the Yeti Zombie for the first time, there is a rare chance for it to appear in any level (including, say, minigames).

Special: Runs Away After a Short While

In the Suburban Almanac entry, it states the Yeti Zombie's special: Runs Away After a Short While. That means that, after a little bit of time, he will try to run away. If you have not killed him yet, you can stop him by planning a Wall-nut, Tall-nut, or Pumpkin. Additionally, Jalapeno, Cherry Bomb, Squash, and the cobs from the Cob Cannon can one-shot the Yeti Zombie.

Crazy Dave Chose Three Random Seed Packets!

After completing Adventure Mode once, Crazy Dave will select three random plants at the start of each level. While you can't directly switch out these plants, quitting and reloading the game will make him choose three different plants.

Level 4-10 - I Can't See!

Can't see on Level 4-10? There is sometimes lightning that allows you to see the level for about a second (sometimes two seconds). You could then use the lightning to plant new plants as well as see what zombies are coming. Due to the limited visibility, it's important to note when and where the Yeti Zombie appears.

Imitater

The Imitater is a plant you can buy from Crazy Dave's Shop for $30,000. It allows you to "copy" another plant in white and black color, allowing you to have two jalapenos or two cheery bombs to take down lots of zombies. Or, you could plant lots of wall-nuts and tall-nuts to stop zombies. As such, the Imitater is a useful plant to have.
