I use fraps, like alot of other Gmodders, we use it for Basic Animation, or plain crappy scenes with flying ragdolls. It doesn't really matter what recorder you have, it just needs to have good framerate, i use F2 for starting a recording. Because F9 just reloads your godamn map, so watch out!

you want to set up a scene for your video. Pose some ragdolls, facepose them with random faces with huge eyes! Whatever you wanna do with your video, anyway once you have posed your ragdolls and stuff you're gonna wanna download a Animation Set, i use SMH watch Dr. Face's Animation Tutorial for help. After you have posed and animated, you are gonna want to place a camera in a perfect place to start recording, press your buttons to start the animation, then record. Simple!

once you have finished recording, pull open your Video Editor/VideoStudio and look for the files you just recorded. Once you have done that put them in your little bar at the bottom of your VideoEditor and start editing. Maybe... add some sound effects, music, FX and other crap you do with your editor.

once you have done that save your Masterpiece, zoom onto YouTube and click dat upload button. Place that ONE file you put up together and name the video, give it a description and wait for it to finish processing, press publish and voila! A perfect GMod video you just uploaded!(unless its crap xD jk)
