The fundamentals of the Medic role are extremely important. You are given the ability to revive ~20 people, and are given ~20 bandages. When you revive someone they are given full health. Meaning bandages are to be used to prevent someones death, and aren't used as much as your morphine/reviving ability.

When playing as the Medic it's crucial to have your HUD enabled for quite some distance for friendlies. This is because when someone needs to be revived, or healed they will have a corresponding icon above their username.

The power of a medic can change the flow of the game. When players properly utilize their medics properly, and you the medic reading this, does their job properly the team can basically push forward indefinitely.
The medic role has the least amount of classes. The amount being two (2).

There are a few important things to know before you start playing as a medic.
  • Watch the map for "blueberries" - Blueberries are your teammates, they're called that because they're just blue dots on the map. They turn dark blue when they die. It's important to know where people are dying, as that's where the front-lines are. Meaning that's where you need to be.

  • Spawn on your outpost, or the nearest garrison to the dying masses, when approaching the front-line search for a safe place to place your medical supplies only if you've reached medic level three (3), otherwise keep making haste towards your dying teammates that need you!
Your goal as a medic is to revive as many players as you can.
It's important for you to stay alive, that means you must: Stay low, avoid enemy fire, and stay behind your friendlies.
When you die, they die. It's not just you waiting ~30 seconds to respawn, it's dozens!
Fight to survive, and revive your friendlies. They'll greatly appreciate it.
It's not about the loadout, it's the man behind the gun!
Stay true to your cause as a medic!
