Ultimate BP guide.

Yo guys!
Today I’m going to share my 190 hours of experience in ARC Raiders and help you get the BP you might be hunting for.

Keep in mind that Blueprints (BPs) aren’t 100% guaranteed drops, but if you loot the places I mention here a few times, you’ll have a good chance of finding the BP you want.

Blueprints Found So Far ✅

I’ve spent hours testing raids, trials, and Surveyor drops to track which strategies improve your chances—but remember, blueprint drops are ultimately luck-based. Even with the best methods, there’s no guaranteed reward, but knowing where to look and how to maximize opportunities will significantly improve your odds.

The Fastest Way to Obtain MK3 Blueprints

(Survivor, Defensive, Aggressive, Flanking)

So far, the only map where I’ve managed to find any MK3 Blueprints is Blue Gate, specifically inside the Reinforced Reception area.

Open Blue Gate Map[arcraidersmaps.app]
You can toggle the map layer to reveal the underground section of Blue Gate where the loot room is located. If you’re having trouble finding it, here’s a step-by-step:
  1. Toggle the layer to see the underground section.
  2. Select Hide All, then under the Containers category, enable
  3. Look for two lockers next to each other underground — that’s the loot room. You can’t miss it!

Room Includes:
2 Security Breaches
1 Weapon Crate
5–6 Lootable Wall Containers (these have the highest chance of dropping MK3 BPs)
1 Grenade Crate

Medical Blueprints
Defibrillator Blueprint

The most efficient way to target this blueprint is to loot high-tier areas that have lots of medical containers. For example, the Buried City Hospital is a great spot — that’s where I found mine, and a friend of mine also found the Vita Spray there.
Surveyors – Why You Should Always Hunt Them Down
Surveyors are small, mobile Arc drones that appear during raids, and they might not look dangerous at first—but they’re one of the most valuable targets you can eliminate. Destroying a Surveyor significantly increases your chances of receiving rare blueprints, making them an important part of progression for any player looking to upgrade their gear.

Surveyors are easy to miss at first, but you can identify them by the distinct blue scanning beam they emit. This signal pulses every few seconds as the Surveyor sweeps the area, making it much easier to spot them even before you hear or see the drone itself.

Trials – Another Way to Obtain Rare Blueprints
Trials are a great way to earn rare blueprints and unique items. For example, my friend received an MK3 blueprint, while I’ve personally obtained Silencer 2 and MK3 Defensive, along with a few duplicates.

Each trial section features 3 stars, representing three potential loot drops per category. Rewards can include blueprints or random items. Like most loot in Arc Raiders, drops are luck-based, so there’s no guaranteed bp reward.

Tips for maximizing rewards:
  • Select night maps or any map that offers a trials multiplier.
  • Focus on achieving all three stars in each trial section to maximize potential loot.
  • Important: Make sure to extract once you’ve earned the trial points you want. If you die before extraction, you lose all progress for that trial.
  • Higher star completion improves your chance for rare items, but luck still plays a role.

By carefully choosing your map, aiming for full completion, and extracting safely, you can maximize your rewards from Trials.

Great guide, thank you. One suggestion I have to improve this guide is to write out the name of the blueprint rather than just a picture of the blueprint's icon.

Thanks again for putting this together!

@Majcher More like a trade in with already learned blueprints that is a 10 to 1 conversion that nets a random unlearned blueprint. Though it should prioritize more common unlearned blueprints and you DEFINITELY shouldn't have the choice to pick what blueprint you want or everyone and their mother would pick Anvil or Bobcat.

They really need to patch-in an option to "re-roll" BPs for a random one you haven't learned yet... In the last 13hr of gameplay I've found two blueprints: bettina and jolt mine, probably the 4th time now...

A lot of blueprints aside from the two blueprints you get from the Harvester puzzle are generated at random, but Night Raids seem to increase the weight internally when they’re found since everything is considered “Loot”. Also I think Embark actually did something with the distribution that made Blueprints appear evenly instead of a lot of people getting Bettina BPs for no good reason when the North Line update dropped.

Hull-cracker BP as a reward from the quest

Found a looting mk3 survivor on Dam Battlegrounds testing annex earlier. Definitely a lot of RNG elements to blueprints.
