Launch Fox Hunt directly from Steam - CURRENTLY NON-FUNCTIONING

This guide will help give you instruction on how to add and launch Fox Hunt directly from the Steam client using a batch script without the need to launch the main game.

Please launch and run both games and change your settings before creating this shortcut, this allows the game to complete setup with any additional files created during first launch.

Creating a batch file
The first task we need to do is create a batch file to run the target command, create a txt file in your preferred location and name it to "FoxHunt.txt" or whatever name you prefer, then add the following code below, changing the pathname of the executable to your install path. Once you have saved the file change the extension from txt to bat.

Change the following executable path above to your install path.
C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\MGSDelta\MGSDelta_Foxhunt\Binaries\Win64\Foxhunt-Win64-Shipping.exe
Adding Fox Hunt to Steam
To add Fox Hunt to your Steam library first click on the "Add a Game" button located at the bottom left of the Steam client and then choose "Add a Non-Steam game" from the menu and navigate to your game's install location like mine listed below and select the executable.

C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\MGSDelta\MGSDelta_Foxhunt\Binaries\Win64\Foxhunt-Win64-Shipping.exe

Running the batch file
Open your non-steam game entry for Fox Hunt and open the game properties from the Steam client, rename your game and change the target path to the location of your batch file as seen below then run the game.

Closing notes
To achieve this I had to use a batch script as the character limit is reached in the shortcut properties path even with the LongPathsEnabled flag enabled in Windows registry.

Still trying to figure out the method for Linux which shouldn't be to dissimilar using a script and using the correct proton launch command, any help would be appreciated!

I may be doing something wrong, when I open foxhunt through my steam library it just opens a cmd window showing me the folder path to the .exe
