-make sure to cook EVERYTHING except rope/rope cannons and chain launchers
-airline food is the best thing ever and cooking it makes it more valuable than marshmellows
-gather all the items at spawn and then sort the ones you'll take (but you must take the lantern and flare) and cook then use the ones you wont take for extra stamina
-don't try anything risky (especially later in the game)

-make sure to keep green/purple kingberries (green kingberries give 2 ticks of poison but fill a lot of hunger)
-at night look for scorchberries
-ALWAYS take red clusterberries
- do NOT climb well raining it may work in earlier difficulties sometimes but not in ascent 7
-always take paths with a lot of walkable surfaces
-DO NOT run into lava to heat yourself during the night it will deal immens damage ik from experience

-obviously travel in the shadows
-take golden prickleberries if you can
-don't bother getting the idol
-take LOADS of food before entering
-always open ancient luggages (in every mountain)
-look for parasols
-use dynamite to cook scorpions

-avoid snowstorms like the plague
-keep heatpacks
-look for yellow winterberry trees
-look for the capybaras
-use rope cannons
-go on the easiest looking path
-dont try to get the luggages at the very bottom- theres basically no way out without climbing gear

-keep roasted birds i you get them from eggs
-go forward when the lava is down i know, revolutionary
-always go for eggs

-always go up ways with tons of rocks
-go up lava rocks if you have to
-always go for luggage
-eat food only when you have to
-be very slow to use rope cannons
-keep ANYTHING with launcher in the name
-make sure to bring cure alls and scout effigies
