Common Sense B42 Patch

Beskrivelse
Common Sense - Compatibility Patch

A community-made patch to restore stability and functionality to Braven's Common Sense mod for the latest version of Project Zomboid. This patch disables outdated features that cause errors, allowing you to use the rest of the mod without issues.

? Requirements & Load Order ?

Game version: B42.12

Due to the nature of the game's scriptmanager, for this patch to work correctly, it must be loaded in two parts.

1. Common Sense Early Patch
2. Common Sense
3. Common Sense Late Patch

Changelog & Fixes

v0.0.1 (Initial Release)
Fixed: Context menu errors related to fireplaces, camping, and BBQs upon load.
Fixed: Context menu errors related to fixing recipes, in particular when repairing vehicle parts.

On Appreciation and Respect

In response to some negative comments I have been getting in relation to Braven, the author of Common Sense, I would like to express that I'm deeply grateful for the work Braven has done for the PZ community. Common Sense is an incredible mod, and I hope they're doing well. This patch exists to honor and preserve their work, not replace it.

Please keep all comments respectful toward Braven and other community members. Modders owe us nothing. Let's show appreciation, not entitlement.

I will be removing disrespectful comments.

The fact the respect thing even had to be mentioned shows how bad the entitlement issue is. Absolutely horrible behavior and so unnecessary, just have some human decency people, and treat other human beings with respect.

Couldnt inflate tires with CS mod. Unfortunatelly this patch doesnt fix that. according to the messages (and other issues, i didn't met yet). Just abandoned that mod, it takes on a lot, better to use single featured mods then

Oh yeah, I forgot to ask about this, do you know what's causing the issue where you can't mount flashlights to belts as it existed with the regular mod? Was hoping you'd have fixed it with this mod too but it seems like it persisted for me

Thank you!!! This patch fixes a very annoying bug where it wouldn't let me repair the hood of any vehicle (giving an error), exposing the engine to damage. This mod fixed it, make sure to edit the load order of your specific save for it to work! :vanilla_gpt2:
