This is a guide for the first encounter with hornet, you can use this for the second encounter, because she's just faster than she was the first time. I'm pretty sure that Hornet has just 4 attacks, the dash, the attack where she throws her nail and pulls it back, the attack when she jumps and spins in a ball, and when she jumps up and dashes towards you. The first attack, her dash, is pretty simple. Just jump over her and if you can, pogo off her and then run away. If she throws her nail, and your next to her, just jump above it and hit her once, then when she pulls it back, you can just jump over the nail. Her third attack, when she jumps and spins in a ball, you can just run away, and heal if needed. This is probably the only time you'll be able to safely heal in this fight. Now, for her last move the jump then dash. For that, when ever she jumps and starts moving towards you, just step a few steps, and when she lands hit her a couple times and run away. Remember to just keep your cool, and after a couple minutes of dodging, the fight should be done, and you can get the dash ability.
