Introduction
If you are reading this then you are likely about to commit one of the biggest mistakes of your life, second only to me deciding to write a second guide what is wrong with me. No matter, it is what it is and you need Sin and loads of it. So lets get started.

Disclaimer: This guide assumes that you have the ability to at least start Ending 4.

Current Fastest Ending 1 Completion Time: 1 minutes 52 seconds
The Basics of Sin
So by this point you already understand the gist of acquiring Sin. Get an Ending, spend your Sin, Reincarnate back to full Sin. How much Sin you acquire is based on your Exp Factor multiplied by various multipliers.

The official formula for calculating your Exp Factor is Log[(total exp/10,000,000), 2] = Exp Factor.
But another way to write it would be: (2^Exp Factor) * 10,000,000 = Total Exp.

Exp Factor 10 = 10.2 Billion Total Exp
Exp Factor 20 = 10.5 Trillion Total Exp
Exp Factor 30 = 10.7 Quadrillion Total Exp
Exp Factor 40 = 11 Quintilian Total Exp

What this means in simple terms is that every time you double your Total Exp, your Exp Factor increases by 1. By increasing your Exp Factor it will take you less work to reach your full Sin Capacity which means both faster Ending Clear times and more Complaints.

It is up to you to decide whether you will prioritize speed or Complaints. Choosing one means sacrificing the other.

Blessing

At the start of each of your runs, most of your Destiny will come from Blessing. This means that one way to reduce time spent waiting for more Destiny is to increase your Blessing Capacity and Regen. Thankfully, completing each of the Endings up to five times will do just that. At the current Maximum Blessing of 23.5k, you will gain an additional 23.5 Destiny per second for no extra work.

Completing Ending 7 for the first time will also give a permanent upgrade to Blessing where it gains a % Blessing Regen Effect based on how much Blessing you currently have. This vastly reduces the amount of time it takes to reach max Blessing.
The Plan
Here we are, the meat and potatoes that you were waiting for. Just remember that adding Story Actions to the Sloth Queue is almost always faster than clicking.

Sloth Setup

Loop:
  • Farmwork (Automatically disabled after leaving village)
  • Tan Pelt (Automatically disabled when reaching capacity)
  • Craft Durable Leather (Automatically disabled when reaching capacity)
  • Pray
Instant:
  • Make Firewood
The Process
  1. Swap out of Enemy of Gods Title if equipped. Add Pick Weeds to Queue, Study in Church, then remove Pick Weeds.
  2. Select Permission to go out, then begin clearing main dungeons. Fight Orc for Gold or Father for Destiny.
  3. Add any School choice to the Queue
  4. When it appears add Old Lady (Leather) to Queue
  5. Begin Norn's content until you reach the two Play choices. Choose I Don't Play to avoid all Forest Norn content.
  6. Clear final Old Lady (Leather) then Leave Alone. Remove story actions from queue.
  7. Clear all Forest Dungeons, then pay to access Academy City. Continue to fight Treant for Gold.
  8. Proceed down Initiation path until you complete Talk with Teacher 2/6. Add Graduate to queue.
  9. Enter Demon Kingdom and kill Demon King. If available, swap to Enemy of Gods Title. Reincarnate.

Plan B

If by this point you are not yet able to Graduate, here are some tips to get you there:
  • If you are still far from Rank 39, enter the Adventurer's Guild (this will cost about 1k Destiny) and get access to Academy City's dungeons by Cleaning Gutters. Fight the Purification Slime and eat Slime Jelly to gain a Gluttony Category Sacred Ritual bonus.

  • Do not try to obtain Donate Gold from talking with the White Haired Girl in the Slums. While Donate Gold is normally superior to Pray in a standard run, it will cost you 2k Destiny to reach it and that costs you time during a Sin Grind.

  • If you are still not there yet, you can consider gathering Herbs for the Tea Party in the Village or going to Coastal City and completing the Priestess's content. Both will add to your Sacred Ritual bonus from Upgrade Actions so if it is low then this will significantly help. Otherwise it is just a drop in the bucket.
The Party
As every Player's capabilities are different, rather than give a specific build I will instead give you suggestions for making a build that works for you.

Suggested Party Members
  • Tree Golem: A fully upgraded Tree Golem will produce 1 Wood every 5 seconds. This will save time and effort getting the Wood and Firewood you need to leave the Village.
  • Immortal Rat: The Rat's passive Pelt generation will remove your reliance on clearing dungeons for Pelts and thus reduce how long it takes to clear Old Lady(Leather).
  • Troll: Doubles your yields from Tan Pelt and Craft Durable Leather.
  • Charity Larva and Rock Spider: Together they increase Pray Effect by +600% which will help immensely with acquiring the Destiny you need to Graduate.
  • Chill Specter (Gourmet Village): Not only does it have a powerful Sacred Ritual Bonus but it also gives +10% Formation Duration. Very useful if you choose to rely on AOE effects.
  • All Sacred Ritual Party Members: If you struggle to reach Rank 39 quickly, consider adding some of these guys to your Party or swapping to a Sacred Ritual Party Template once you unlock the option to Graduate.

Suggested Titles
  • Heart of Justice (Evil City): While it may only produce 1 Virtue every 20 seconds, if you need more Sacred Ritual bonus then this title is the best you can get.
  • Enemy of Gods (Ending 8): This newly added title increases your Sin Capacity by +7 and more Sin is always good. That said, it also comes with a -7 Blessing per second penalty so be sure to switch out of it at the start of each run.
  • God's Guidance: If you have neither of the above titles then this is probably your best option. The extra Destiny and Blessing Regen will help save a little bit of time.

Suggested Equipment
  • Adventurer's Armor, Commander's Flag, Wanderer's Robe: All of these have Exp Drop Amount which will make you rank up faster.
  • Sacred Spellbook, Prayers Rod, Relic Heavy Armor: Like above but they give Sacred Ritual Bonus instead.
  • Stone Spear: When fully upgraded it gives Action Regen. Given that you will likely avoid completing Father's Training in order to save time, you will likely be low on this.
  • Masterwork Mithril Spear (Swift Spearman's Training): Not only does this give Attack Speed but it also gives Will Gain Effect. Faster dungeon clearing and more Sacred Ritual bonus from Will makes this amazing.
  • Super Smelly Fish (Ending 7): Fish Regen. It doesn't help you reach the ending any faster but it does provide a means of boosting your Gluttony Multiplier.

    Attack Strategy
You have two options here, go for speed or rely on the power of the AOE effect.

If you choose speed then aim to equip your party with moves like Sharp Spike, Wind Step, or abnormally fast Default moves. Also consider the possibility of adding the Joker or Brutal Arm to increase your Attack Speed if you think you can afford it.

However, if your Formation Duration and Cooldown are high enough then you should instead aim to put the AOE effect on all of your party members. With the Sacred Spellbook, Magic Wand, and the Default Secondary Equipment Wizards Gloves you only need two of your party members to use skills that have in-built AOE. While the Magic Formation is active you will be able to clear a standard dungeon in 5 attacks instead of the normal 15 which as you might imagine is a massive time saver.
Routines
Envy: For Sin Grinding, most of the Routines in the Creativity section will help reduce your clear time. You should set this to your active Envy Strategy in order to double the benefits.

Greed: You will want to stockpile research ahead of time, particularly Zone 4, Zone 6, and Rare Monster Research. Zone 4 gives Dungeon Reward Effect and Zone 6 gives Loop Action Effect, both of which will make general progression faster. Rare Monster Research will give Exp Drop Amount which will make reaching Rank 39 faster. If you want more Complaints then feel free to add in research from the other Zones.

Gluttony: You will want to set your Auto Eat Slots to Pork and Apples as you will get some of them on the way to Academy City. Add Slime Jelly to the list if you think you will be fighting the Purification Slime. If you are using the Super Smelly Fish, then also add Fish.

Will: If you to focus purely on completion time, then disable everything except the Sacred Ritual Bonus. If you want more Complaints, then also leave the Habit Efficiency and Summon Familiar Speed active.

Familiar: Feel free to ignore this or use an AHA template to automatically put Habit in here. It will only help increase the number of Complaints you can generate.

Pride: While a number of Advanced Pride Challenge rewards can help reduce your completion time, Don't Need Habit in particular is both the easiest and most useful as it gives up to +100% Sacred Ritual bonus per Ending. If you have made it to Ending 4 then you can probably handle a few rounds of Don't Need Habit for Ending 1.

Alchemy (Magic City): If you have access to them, both a Sacred Ritual Template or Exp Drop Amount Template will help you reach Rank 39 faster. While the Sacred Ritual Template is more powerful in this specific scenario, the Exp Drop Amount Template can also be used for Total Exp grinding.

Auto Habit Allocation

The AHA aspect of Sloth allows you to set up a template for automatically distributing your Habit to various Routines. In the case of Sin Grinding, you will need to use two templates.

AHA Sin Grinding: This template must cover your usual Habit allocations but also it must place 1 Habit into each of Envy's Routines. This will maximize your benefits from Envy in the shortest amount of time.
AHA Energy: This should be a limited template that only places 1 Habit in each of the standard 6 Energy Extension Routines. You will be using this to get just enough energy to make it through the rest of the run, probably 10 - 20 seconds, before switching back to the other AHA template.

The Power of Shortcut Buttons
While Sloth made most of Shortcut's features obsolete, they are still great for reducing button clicks and that saves time. You can obtain 3 from regular play, 3 from Pride Challenges, and 3 more from the Ruby Shop. You will have to decide which Shortcuts to use based on how many you have.

My Current Shortcut Set up:
  1. Combat Party Template: For Enemy of Gods Title.
  2. Standard Party Template: Modified for Sin Grinding.
  3. AHA Energy Training: Just 1 Habit in standard 6 Energy Cap Extensions.
  4. AHA Sin Grinding: Standard spread but with 1 Habit in all Envy Routines as well.
  5. Zone 4 Greed: To boost Dungeon Reward Effect.
  6. Zone 6 Greed: To boost Loop Action Effect.

Good guide! A few minor quibbles:

Titles: If you have less than 3.5k Blessing, then Pioneer of Destiny will be better than God's Guidance. (The other benefits may be worthwhile too.) This is a real thing for people who clear an ED5 before going 5/5 on all earlier EDs.

AoE discussion: You say 3 AoE attacks instead of 15, but every regular dungeon has 5 floors, so it's 5 attacks. It's more like 10-12 without AoE in zone 1, and maybe less than 15 on average in zone 2. AoEs will probably not be worth it until you're very strong (though what matters is formation uptime vs. cooltime, not actual strength).
