Build Contents:

Installation Instructions:
  1. Download the archive with the build from this link[drive.google.com].
  2. Extract the contents of the archive to the game's root directory and confirm file replacement.
  3. In your Steam library, right-click on Cry of Fear.
  4. Select "Properties".
  5. In the "Launch Options" field, copy and paste the following line: -gl -num_edicts 2048 -heapsize 1024000 -w 1920 -h 1080 -fullscreen
  6. Launch the game and enjoy!

1920 1080 (values can be changed to match your resolution).

Additional information (especially for laptops):
  1. Windows settings (Win + I) → System → Display → Graphics.
  2. Click "Browse" and find the required cof.exe file with the game.
  3. Select it and click "Options".
  4. Set the "GPU Settings" to "High Performance".
  5. Disable MSI AfterBurner or RivaTuner (Thanks to Rokossovsky K.)

The launcher is ready. It's just a matter of finishing it up and packing the build.
This next week, I will completely update the manual and release the launcher with the build. Everything will be in one place. The launcher will have automatic Cry Of Fear repair and a mod manager. Stay tuned:steambored:

Hi, I'm already working on this bug and a new launcher for Cry of Fear with automatic game repair and an addon workshop.

This worked for some time, but game Fcked me up again when i tried to leave Gustav park. Forever loading of new area is back.
