Turn on Num Lock.
Hold Y + Numpad 0.
Tap in less than 2.5 seconds using Numpad (easier) or regular arrow keys:
Right, Right, Left, Left, Up, Left, Right.

"Impatient" Developer Cheat

"Impatient" Developer Cheat

This is a secret key sequence/cheat code called Impatient. It can skip any dialogue (including the ferryman's in the intro), the initial death moment exploration phase where you can't open the book, and the book reveal animations.

Subsequent listens to memory dialogues can be skipped by left clicking instead of using Impatient. It does not skip the body finding orb or the images in the intro. The intro images can be skipped with Spacebar.

Usage:

Turn on Num Lock.
Hold Y + Numpad 0.
Tap in less than 2.5 seconds using Numpad (easier) or regular arrow keys:
Right, Right, Left, Left, Up, Left, Right.

While this works, when I was doing this, the left clicking and spacebar part never worked so I would have to input the whole code in again for every single thing which was annoying

thanks so much for this. anyone know whether there's a version of the "impatient" cheat that works with macOS (since macs don't have num lock)?
