Disclaimer
I apologize if I make any mistakes, it's because my English level is average, so sometimes I have to use a translator. I think it's not a problem. As the old man said: as long as you know the meaning, the words don't matter, or something like that.

I won't tell you how to dodge attacks. You can watch a video guide on YouTube for that or see other guides. I don't know what kind of fingers you have, let alone how you play, so learn to play yourself and improve your skills.

This is a guide to help you find the boss and make the fight easier, not a full "how to win" guide, not in the sense of "do only this." Tips are meant to encourage you to win.

Some bosses are added just for fun or because they can actually be skipped due to a hidden route.

I won't tell you about weird route boss. I'm not going to write about the single boss, which is almost a complete copy of the original. The only differences are that you need to act differently and that Kris fights alone. It's just pointless.

(Touchy fanatics only)
I apologize in advance if I'm using the wrong pronoun for Kris. (This is only to avoid the hate on Twitter, which I don't have, and whatever which social media. So, please keep in mind that they are subconsciously male to me.) Sometimes I'm just confused by it and I don't understand what we're talking about. This applies to all gender-neutral characters, it's just confusing me.
I don't have anything against that (except fanatics), it's not a protest, it's for my own convenience.

To be honest, I don't care about these pronouns, just ignore them if you understand me perfectly. My native language doesn't have such pronouns

Chapter 1
Jevil
Battle theme - THE WORLD REVOLVING

I think many people already know about him, and there are many guides on the internet. However, I cannot ignore him.

He is the only full-fledged secret boss in the chapter 1. These bosses are the most challenging in the entire chapter, and defeating them rewards you with a shadow crystal, as well as armor or weapons, depending on the method to your victory.

The fight with Jevil is quite difficult due to his high damage output and crazy attacks, which is a stark contrast to the generally easy playthrough of the chapter 1.

Recommendations
  • You must defeat the Jevil before you reach the Chaos King, because if you defeat King firstly, you won't be able to return.

  • Be sure to save the Revive Mint that you can find. It is advisable to save it for the secret boss in chapter 3. Until the chapter 2, you won't be able to store items in the storage, so you may need to sacrifice inventory space. However, this mint is easier to find in the future, and it can help you in your battle against Jevil.

  • Before the battle, I recommend buying more healing items. It also doesn't hurt to have the best set of armor or weapons. All of these items you can purchased at the Seam's and Rouxls Kaard's shops. Also it would be helpful if you had previously collected equipment items.
(In the next chapters, buy everything you need from local shopkeepers)

  • Remember TopСhef whose cake Susie ate? Well, take the cake and fix it with Malius. Return the TopCake to the TopChef, and he will give you a SpinCake that heal a little less than that one, but he will be able to give us a cake in chapter 2, which you can use. The only downside is that he does not give more than one cake at a time, so save the cake for emergencies. Specifically, in chapter 1, for the Jevil fight.

How to find him
It's pretty easy to skip the secret room on the first play.

In the card castle, after riding the elevator out of prison (those pissing me off), interact with the panel on it. Among the options will be "??????", this is the secret room. Choose it and exit the elevator.

There will be a kind of cage at the very end of the room, and a prisoner will speak to us from inside, who will offer to show us "freedom" (he considers himself the only free prisoner).
Regardless of the answer, the prisoner will say that he needs a key and will give a hint that "the old shopkeeper knows a secret". I think you know who he's talking about.

After that, return to the elevator and exit the castle. Use the door to move to the field. Once you're back in the field, enter the shop and talk to Seam about the "strange prisoner." You won't go wrong, as the correct option is highlighted in yellow. After the conversation, you will receive the "Broken Key A" and a hint on where to find the remaining two keys.

"Broken Key B" is located in a treasure chest in the forest. In the area filled with ballerinas, head southwest and find the hidden passage. You can tell because there are no stars there. Once you've passed through, you'll find a chest waiting for you.

"Broken Key C" is located behind the puzzle before the Great Board. You may have seen it earlier but didn't solve it because you weren't in the card castle at the time.

Once you've collected all the key pieces, head to the blacksmith Malius, and combine them into a "door key." Return to the grate and use the key to create a door and enter the area. That's why the key is the "door".

How to defeat
The fight is the most difficult in the whole chapter, so if this is your first secret boss fight, then you may give up trying to defeat him.
There are 2 options for victory: Actions and Fighting. In both cases, the fight will seem difficult.

Winning by using actions
You need to tire Jevil. If the TP has reached 20%, then using the "Pirouette" action, you will slightly tire Jevil and get a random effect: positive, neutral or negative. The effect depends on which turn it is, so if you know what happens on which turn, you can use it to your advantage (look at the effects list down below). However, this is not the most effective way to win, as it is very slow.

Another option is to use the "Hypnosis" action as soon as the TP reaches 50%. This will Jevil's next attack weaken and make him more tired. The action involves all party members, so use it when you are confident that you can avoid the attack. In other turns, defend yourself and save up your TP, and don't forget to heal.

Once the name becomes blue, use Ralsei's pacify and you will win.
(Attacking him doesn't tire him out)

Winning by using fighting
You need to reduce Jevil's health to 0. It is advisable to always use fight for efficiency, and it is even more effective if you hit the indicator accurately to maximize damage. You can also use pirouette at the right turn (socond one) to drop Jevil's defense.

For greater efficiency, save up your TP by 50% and use Susie's "Rude Buster" magic. Also press [z] when the magic is about to touch the enemy, it will increase the damage. In other turns, attack and heal yourself, but you will have to avoid attacks even more.

Unfortunately, I will not analyze all of Jevil's attacks and how to dodge them, so learn his attacks and sooner or later you will succeed. I can't defeat him for you, it's up to your skills.

Effects of pirouette
All effects are repeated after the 9th turn.
Turn 1: Nothing happens, but plays a random sound effect. (Cannot be used in the very first turn)
Turn 2: Jevil's defence dropped.
Turn 3: 60% fewer invincibility frames for this turn.
Turn 4: The team's defense is increased for this turn.
Turn 5: Nothing happens, and a bird flies across the screen.
Turn 6: 25-55 HP heal to a random party member.
Turn 7: Party members' HP bars are shuffled. (At the end of the battle, all HP bars return to normal)
Turn 8: Jevil's next attack deals more damage.
Turn 9: Heal 36 to 50 health to all party members.

Spamton NEO
♪ Battle theme - BIG SHOT

There are also many guides and, equally important, artworks about him.
EV3RY BUDDY 'S FAVORITE [[Number 1 Rated Salesman1997]]

It can be said that he is an almost perfect example of a secret boss that rewards you with the shadow crystal, as well as armor or weapon. He is also the most difficult boss in the chapter. However, what sets him apart from Jevil is it's different soul mechanics.

In the fandom, he is considered a simpler boss, and yes, after you defeating Jevil, Spamton NEO no longer seems as challenging, but he is definitely not the easiest secret boss.

Recommendations
  • You need to defeat Spamton NEO before the Giga Queen figth.

  • Collect all Revive Mint you find in the storage. It will be needed for the secret boss in chapter 3. You can also grab some Revive Dust. These items will be useful for this boss as well, but try not to use them all at once.

  • If in chapter 1 you returned the TopCake to TopChef, then before leaving the Castle Town, take the SpinCake and put it in the storage. It may be needed in battle. You can also return to the town at the end of the chapter and save the cake for the secret boss in chapter 3.

  • You can also buy this mannequin, it may be useful in battle.

  • In general, this is a standard practice, collect or buy everything, items, armors, weapons. All unused move to the storage, thereby you will be more prepared for battle.

How to find him
Obviously to access the boss, need to make a deal with Spamton. All that is needed is to defeat him by using actions, namely, necessarily make the deal. Otherwise, access will be closed. This is the most important step if you want to battle.

Continue as usual until you reach the Queen's Mansion. You can enter the mansion, but only until the battle with Giga Queen. Otherwise, you will not be able to return. You need to leave the mansion and move to the Trash Zone.

Go to the left until you reach the dead end. You will see a small passage, where Spamton is waiting for you. (The door will be closed if you have not made the deal). Among other things, there is a single useful item "BSHOT BOWTIE", buy it, you will need it in battle, but you cannot equip it on Susie.

We are also interested in talking to him about the deal. Spamton will explain what you need to do: buy KeyGen from him, find the secret enter to the basement in the mansion, find the disk there, and bring it to him. Follow his instructions and buy KeyGen from Spamton. It's important to catch the moment when it's available at low price. Before leaving, Spamton will still remind us about the basement in the mansion and that we will need to find it and bring the disk.

On the first floor of the mansion, on the right side, there will be car road. Go through it. Next, there will be the Hacker in a room if you have recruited him before. He will say that there is a hidden backdoor somewhere here. While he's walking, keep an eye on his head, as it will point to a hidden lever at the right moment.

Even if you haven't recruited a Hacker, try to interacting with everything, the lever is always in the same place. Then, enter the opened backdoor. You will find a special forsefield that can be opened by using KeyGen.

After going further, you will find the creepy basement. Go through it... Yes, just follow the obvious steps, such as disabling the field and finding the Empty Disk. It's not difficult, but you may encounter a few jumpscares. After that, return to Spamton.

After returning to the shop, you need to talk to Spamton and give him the disk (highlighted in yellow). After that, he will instruct you to go back and put the disk back where you got it. He will transfer himself on the disk, you must agree to do so. Once you agree, the Spamton's shop will be permanently closed.

Before entering the basement: If you bought that mannequin for 300 dark bucks, or Frayed Bowtie equip it on Кris and on Ralsei too (This will reduce the damage only by cats and puppets, and Spamton NEO himself, these items will be useless in others). It's better to equip only one armor slot, and the second a stronger armor.
Susie will refuse to wear junk, so buy her some stronger armor.

Return the Loaded Disk to its place. You'll understand when the battle begins.

How to defeat
As with Jevil, the fight is quite difficult, and there are also two ways to win, depending on which you will receive armor or weapon.

A little tip: use the yellow soul shots to the maximum, that means always, many of boss attacks can be avoided with shots.

If you remember the hint about using F1 for help, so in this fight this button also works, but only 1 time. Use it.

Winning by using actions
You need to snap the wires that hold the Spamton with the "Snap" action. If you snap with the entire party, you will receive a bonus of +7% to mercy. However, if you snap individually, you will receive a maximum of +6% to mercy (2% from each party member). It is advisable to perform a group snap when you have a high HP.
It is clear that you need to achieve 100% mercy. This may take a long time, but it is the only way. There are no special actions, just a strategy.

Additional spells will appear in the Magic tab:
Susie has a 32% TP "Super Charge" that allows you to charge the next 20 powerful yellow soul shots faster. These shots cannot stack, so casting the magic will simply update the counter to 20 shots.
Ralsei has a 16% TP "Fluffy Guard" that summons 2 balls of fur around the soul to take the hit. They have a durability pool, can move to the next turn, and can be summoned up to 4.

In general, sometimes save TP and use magic to help, but at least one party member should snap the wire, so you can save some time, sometimes. (~Drum sound~)

Winning by using fighting
As in the case of Jevil, you need to reduce the boss's health to 0. The strategy is generally the same, you need to use fight and preferably hit the indicator. Also use magic to avoid attacks more easily.

Don't forget about the "Rude Buster", it is also useful to use it at 50% TP, if you have a "Devil's Knife", then at 40% TP. And don't forget about [z], when magic is about to touch an enemy, it will increase damage.

Yellow soul's shots don't damage the boss, so you must use the fight.
Attack, heal, in principle, the strategy is simple.

♪ Battle theme - BURNING EYES

A truly secret boss. In the fandom, some people call this entity the shadow mantle, but this is obviously a misconception. The names ERAM and BURNING EYES are also circulating, due to the name of the soundtrack during the encounter and battle, but the entity name is not mentioned in the game itself. The Deltarune wiki site gave this option:Shadow Mantle Holder based on data from the game files. So, I hope that we have clarified the situation a bit.

The boss inside the game "Legend of Tenna", or rather in original version. The path that needs to be done is quite difficult, especially for the first time.
Due to the complexity of controls and an atypical way of victory, you can spend many attempts. After defeating it, you will receive shadow mantle, which will make it easier to fight the secret boss of the chapter 3.

Recommendations
Since this is an in-game boss (within the game), you won't need any special items. All you need is your skills.

If you want to fight, don't waste your points just in case. They might come in handy.

How to find it
After each round, you need to visit a special room for S-rank players. Obviously that you must have at least S-rank to do this.
However, if you haven't a required rank, you can "buy" it from the Pippins for 1500 points. Although it is fake, it will allow you to enter the room. Yes, these points still need to be saved, but the good thing is that you can dig weeds endlessly.

After the round 1
Go to the S-rank room. There you will find... honestly, not the best dressing room. At the door will be standing Ramb, he will tell about that the game we played was not exactly original, that further will be its original version.

Next, you will find yourself in a dark room with a game console on the left. When you try to turn it on, it will not start because you have no controller. FORTUNATELY, there will be a controller lying on the floor.

Well, let's start the console and start the game. You will find yourself on the same map you were playing on, but it will be full of monsters, but you don't have to worry about them yet. You need to go to the secret room where the letters from fans were supposed to be. There will be a sword, so pick it up. After that, the monsters will become hostile.

Stab down everyone you see. All you need is level up. The higher level, the more obstacles you can cut with your sword. Once you reach level 3, you'll be able to cut down cacti. There will be a cactus fence on the right, so cut it and continue forward. Keep stabbing everyone you see.

When you reach the max level, you will be able to cut palm trees... So, that nothing is holding you back, and you can cut your way through the walls. Sooner or later, you will come across a chest that contains an ice key. After that, the console will shut down.

After the round 2
As in the first time, you need to get at least S-rank.
Run the console and look for the sword. It is in the place where you took the camera. All the same need to level up.

When you reach the level 2, get on the raft. Cut the bushes that get in the way and swim straight through the waterfall.

Next, you will need to get on another raft. Swim on it to the left and up, you will have to swim for a long time, but at the end you will meet glaciers and a pier. Continue on your way and you will find a door that is unlocked by the ice key.

Inside the gloomy room, you will need to level up again to cut the trees from the road. Along the way, you will come across a message "follow the white cloak".

Indeed, you will meet it later, and it will accompany you, and besides, freeze enemies on your command.

After going further with it, go back to the beginning, you can bypass the bird that was in your way. Next will be an endless maze. To get through it, follow the white cloak, if it suddenly stops in the center, then this is the wrong path, it will only go with you where the right path is. This way you will get out of the maze.

At the end there will be another door. Next will be a dark corridor. Going further you will pick up the shelter key. After that, the console will shut down.

After escaping from Tenna
Before going further in the story, go to the S-Rank room one last time. This time there will be no obstacles. Just go up and turn on the console.

You will find yourself on the map of the interrupted round 3. Wander around the map a little, find a passageway and take the sword.

Since there are no enemies here to level up, then... stab your friends....... Now you can cut the fence. Next, jump into the sewer manhole.

The location is quite creepy and difficult. Again, you need to level up to the maximum to cut the trees. But it's quite difficult to do. A little tip: there are a lot of white monsters in one of the rooms, don't kill them all at once, use them to heal yourself.

Next, you will meet Tenna, but you will also need to kill him. As you continue your journey, you will come across the same shelter as from the hometown. Kris will try to stop you, but you must use the key you have to open the doors.

Inside, you will once again encounter the mysterious entity that holds the shadow mantle. But this time you will fight it.

How to defeat
You just need to stab the poor guy. The fight is not easy, and it goes through 4 phases. I can only give you some small tips.

Stay in the center of the battlefield, so you will have more room to maneuver. But sometimes it is still worth stepping on the edges.

The boss doesn't deal damage when you touch it, but if the boss makes a dash, you should be careful. You can also hit it at this time.

It's best to stay below the boss during the final attack.

I warned you about spoilers. I could have shown the boss in full, since they will appear in any case, knowing that many who have played already know them face, but I decided that the character is too important to spoil it to new players. If you have already completed Chapter 3, you can ignore the spoiler.

Probably the main villain of the entire game, and with it the most difficult boss in game. Although they meets the story, the average player can't defeat them and you are guaranteed to lose in a normal route.

Yes, because of the fact that they appears in any case, someone still don't believe in the fact that this is a secret boss. However, after "defeating" over them, you will receive shadow crystal and weapon.

Recommendations
  • Don't even try to defeat them if you have detected skills issues. But if you are a stubborn player and ready to suffer, then your welcome, but at least sometimes take breaks, otherwise the boss will strangle you.

(I admit, I memorized it's attacks so much that I defeate without a shadow mantle while writing this guide. But I won't say that was easy for me, just as a fact.)

  • In theory, you can defeat the boss without the right equipment, but considering the average player's capabilities... I recommend you firstly defeat the previous secret boss to obtain its armor. (Read the section above).

  • If you have defeated the previous secret boss and obtained its armor, you should equip it. However, due to the boss's unique behavior and interactions with party members, it is recommended to equip the Shadow Mantle on Susie. (You can also equip it on Kris, but this is up to your preference.)

  • Remember my tips on saving Revive Mint? So, after the battle with Tenna, go back to the save point and transfer all the collected mint to your pocket. It will come in handy now. Also, pick up the SpinCake if you saved it from the chapter 2, as I mentioned earlier.
It would be even better to purchase the deluxe dinners.

  • Have the best weapon with the highest damage rating - this is important.

How to find them
You don't need to do anything, they will appear at the very end of the chapter.

How to defeat
There is only one working way to win through fighting. That's why if you've been playing through actions all the time, the battle will be even more difficult for you.
Remember the fight with Jevil? Yes, it was difficult, unbearable... Now multiply that difficulty by 10 and you'll know what it's like to fight with The Knight.

Each of them attacks can remove a team member literally with one hit without the possibility of return, because they faints with -999 HP in reserve. This is what the mint was needed for, because it returns the fallen team member regardless of the negative amount of health.

And now to the tactics: you need to reduce the boss's health to 75%. Therefore, it is preferable that it is Susie who remains alive, as she deals the highest damage both with her attacks and with her spell. The more often you use her attacks, the more likely you are to succeed.

The Knight doesn't cause Kris to faint, so you can use a regular healing item like a TV-dinner to bring them back into the fight. This is another reason to give the mantle to Susie.

Kris, among all team members, deals the least damage to Knight, however, if both teammates are downed, Kris deals increased damage that increases with each turn, which is even higher than Susie's, but there's not much point in doing so if they doesn't have a shadow mantle (although it can help with finishing off). Therefore, if you don't have enough TP for Susie's spell, simply use Kris's defense.

With Kris's "Hold Breath" action, you will slightly increase your soul's speed for the rest of the battle. After that, all other actions, as well as S- and R-actions, will be useless. It is better to use this action on the first turn.

Next, the most difficult thing is to avoid attacks. Through pain, sweat, and tears. Remember that all attacks cause characters to faint, so it's crucial to avoid this. Your shadow mantle reduces damage, but only to one party member, and even that is not a guarantee of success. Unfortunately, success depends on your skills and the right strategy, so all I can do is wish you good luck. However, the reward for this suffering are truly amazing.

Mike?
♪ Battle theme - Catswing

This is the most unusual mini-boss in the entire game. Not only does he use a computer mouse, but he also uses your mic. So, you have to use mouse and a microphone to complete the battle.
(Without these, the battle will not begin). Of course, you can assign a key instead of the microphone, but as mentioned, this is not recommended.
He goes through without any problems, but you won't receive any rewards unless a bunch of new questions and access to other mini-games with the same mechanics.

How to find him
Finding is quite simple, harder to get inside the right door. If during the chapter 3 you recruited enough darkners, then returning to the Castle town you will have access to the TV building, in which you can replay the rhythm mini-game from there. You already have noticed a mysterious door nearby that says it's Mike's room. However, you can't just go in, as it has a code lock.

Looking ahead, I'll say that the code can only be found at the end of the chapter, after you enter the third sanctuary. Save and re-enter the game, or if you have already completed the chapter, just download your save file. After that, the enter to the light world will be opened, with which you can return to the Castle town, but only Kris will return. There will be a note paper with the door code at Mike's door. Code: 6453
If you had entered the code at the very beginning, then you would have been able to fight with the full party and some interactions would also have changed, but not significantly.

Next, just explore the room, and you'll come across a set of conditions, such as having a mouse and a microphone. Obviously, since we're playing on a PC, we'll need a computer mouse. It seems that the controls are quite different in the console version. Additionally, you'll need a microphone, and if you don't have one, you can assign the [x] button or the mouse right-click button as a substitute.

(These are no glitches, I have intentionally hidden the device names.)

How to defeat them?
Well... The boss is not so difficult to give any tips on winning, everything is extremely simple and clear. By the way, you don't even need a keyboard, only a mouse and a mic (if of course you have it). If you pet a party member, then you will heal them, so it is still necessary to try to lose.

I would call this an ordinary opponent because of the recruitment mechanics, but she's appearance can be overlooked, and the battle essentially takes place in two phases. In the second phase, the princess will reveal her true form.

There's only one way to defeat him, and for that, you'll receive a shadow crystal and a weapon. However, he has a few special features that make it difficult to say definitively that he's easy. According to the tip, you need to find a golden piano. It is located near the study, go upstairs to the left, and climb up the books ledges. You need to find three pieces of melody and play them on this piano. There will be a sign nearby that will tell you where to look for them.

The first part of the melody is quite far away, in the place where you came from. In the first room with the fading lanterns and clumps... Of darkness, I suppose... To the northwest (top left), there is a wall you can climb. Just climb to the very top, where you will find... (read the section above).

The second part of the melody is in the room where you first met the old man. I think you remember the wall on the way. And there's dark maze room with statues. It's not difficult to pass through.

The last part of the melody is located near the study, in the room with the donations waterfall. Just go behind the waterfall and go through another dark room. At the end of the path, there will be a wall of bells that you can climb if you have claws. Then there will be another dark room at the end of which will be the last part of the melody.

Now, all that's need is to play the melody, and a hidden passage will open in the study behind the fireplace. There, you will find your reward.

But...

How to defeat
The basis of victory is the impression of the opponent with our strength and guts. In other words, he cannot be defeated in the usual sense of action or fighting. He has set us a clear condition, to haircut at least one hair.

The boss is difficult because he does not allow us to use items for healing. He doesn't use them, so it's fair.

As I said earlier, to win the battle, you need to impress your opponent, you can do this in several ways, the main one is to attack. Attacking you also get a lot of TP, no matter how hard you hit, hitting the boss won't work anyway. Therefore, using protection in this battle is extremely ineffective.

Don't forget about magic and "Rude Buster". It earns even more points, but... Get ready to repel it back, and then several times.

Well, since you can't use items, the only way to heal is with Susie's healing spell (finally it useful). Healing also contributes to victory, as he likes that we've overcome our flaws.

In general, all you need to do is last as long as possible, but remember that the sooner you impress your opponent, the more likely you are succeed, because the longer you fight, the harder his attacks become.
(However, the fight will only last until the "final attack," which is a sure sign that you will win)

Do you mean Snowgrave Spamton NEO?

Of course I know.
You fight the same way, but only Kris.
The only thing you're missing is a bow tie and a mannequin. Before the battle, you can buy a bunch of healing items and use the healing deal. Use your actions to deal double slashes.
The only challenge is that you're alone, but overall, he's the same boss.
In my opinion, it's not worth the attention, because 95% of the description will only cover the route to him. And it's too long. It's easier to watch on YouTube ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It would be nice, but I would probably describe everything in too much detail like on the wiki, and this topic is such that it depends mostly on the person itself, rather than knowing the attacks. And yes, I understand that it is also important, but it is also important to know what is required to win. And, my fingers have been patient enough for several times. Please spare them :torielsad:.

I would've liked for the Knight fight that you added a guide teaching others how to dodge the attacks, because you can no-hit the final attack if you know where to move without having to dodge anything in the first half. Knowing the pathing on it is how I did no-item on it.
