There are three types of media in the game. Photos, Video, and Audio. You can document various paranormal happenings with these methods. While not required to ID the ghost they are very worth filling in as many as possible as they increase the pay out of the investigation and are required to get the perfect game bonus.

In order to get a perfect game you must fulfill the following requirements.

• You must accurately ID the ghost
  
• Take 5 unique photos
  
• Record 5 unique videos
  
• Record 3 unique Audio recordings
  
• Complete the 3 optional objectives
  
• and find and collect the bone placed somewhere randomly on the map.

Each form of media can record things that would make sense for them to count toward. For instance a photo can't track movement so it won't count taking a photo of a thrown object, but a video would count for something thrown. Below I have listed all the things I am aware of that count towards the various media types. If I missed something feel free to let me know in the comments below.

Recording a media type more that once will count it as a duplicate. Duplicate media are worth far less than normal and won't count towards getting a perfect game. This only counts if they are the same type of media. For instance a photo of the ghost and a video of it won't count as a duplicate. Same goes for something like a firelight being blown out. Getting a video and audio recording of it count separately and won't be a duplicate.

For some of the media you may need to drop a piece of equipment on the ground then swap to the media tool needed in order to get the media needed.

Every map has a bone you can collect. The bone appears in a random location and is needed to achieve a perfect game. You can take a photo of it before you pick it up. If you have already picked it up there is no way to get a photo.

Can take a picture of a crucifix after a ghost attempts to begin a hunt and the crucifix prevents it.

These can appear around the map, but can not show up if you have cursed objects disabled in the difficulty settings. Cursed objects include: The Monkey paw, summoning circle, taro cards, ouija board, voodoo doll, or music box.

If another player is killed you can snag a photo of their body.

If the ghost interacts with a sink it will produce dirty water. You can take a photo of this.

Take a photo of the ghost as it appears in the DOTS projector.

You can take a picture of the EMF reader while it is detecting supernatural activity. Any EMF 2-5 will count.

If you get a freezing temperature reading on the thermometer. Drop it on the ground and take a picture of it without turning it off.

Take a photo of the ghost when it appears in a solid state. This includes when it hunts. It can be tricky getting this photo during a hunt. As the ghosts blinking can cause you to miss the photo.

If the ghost writes in the ghost writing book you can take a picture of the book.

If your quick. You can snag a photo of the "air ball" as it approaches a player.

Obake can leave unique hand prints behind sometimes when interacting with objects. This counts separately from normal hand prints.

Tale a picture of the ghost when it appears as a shadow during an event.

If the ghost leaves UV hand prints on doors or other objects you can take a photo of these.

You can place salt on the ground and if UV is an evidence type for the ghost it can leave footprints on the ground after stepping in the salt.

You can record a crucifix that is actively burning.

If another player is dieing you can record their body.

If you spot the ghost in the process filling a sink with dirty water you can record this.

You can get a recording of the ghost interacting with a radio.

Record the ghost orbs if it is an evidence for the ghost. (Can only be recorded once)

If the ghost is actively writing in the book you can record it.

Any time the ghost interacts with something in the environment. You can record the interaction. This includes things such as showers, sinks, phones, etc.

If the lights flicker in a room you can record the light source.

If the ghost breaks the lights in an area you can record it.

If the ghost turns on or off a light you can record the interaction point of the light. for instance, the lights in a room you record the light switch. While something like a lamp you record the lamp itself.

If the ghost performs an "air ball" event you can record it as it approaches a player.

You can record a motion sensor when the ghost triggers it.

When the obake uses it's shape shifting ability during a hunt this can be recorded. This can be tricky to capture.

If the ghost throws an object you can record it.

If you get a response while using the Ouija board you can record it.

If the ghost makes a rocking chair move you can record it.

Record the ghost when it performs an event while in a shadow form.

If the ghost performs an event as a translucent ghost you can record it.

When a ghost is blocked from hunting by a crucifix you can record the sound.

You can get this sound if the ghost is a Deogen. You can get this recording from their unique heavy breathing response when using the spirit box.

You can record the sound of the ghost while it is hunting.
