So first of all we need to upgrade two first Basic Skills in Combat-Ranged Skills and then to apply all of his Skill Points on next 3 BS.

So the first important skill we immediately learn with tutorial.


Then we need to destroy 6 objects. First 2 we destroy on our home location and all others on the Farm.




And after that your skill set should look like that:


Unfortunately game doesn't allow you to use SP on the most annoying BS. Be ready to train this skill your whole first walkthrought. Remember that Cody should always be the last one to kill an enemy. This BS is the MOST powerful one.

In Combat-Ammo you can also use this your SP on this BS. But if it's not too annoying for you to upgrade then better to use your SP on BS in Crafting-Tool Bench(more info on the next chapter)


In Combat-Tactics I recommend to upgrade Stealth Attack



Your 6 SP you will get on the 60 day if you decide to chose Madness(Zombie Anling). I personally wanted to have a "good" ending so I chose the Will way (Anling lives) but now i regret this decision because I could have gotten 2 SP more from the first walkthrought.

You need to read 2 skill books EVERY day at the same time. You will need a few walkthroughts to be able to finish all Advanced Skills. So you NEED this exp multiplier.


There are 3 levels of skill books:

• Grey
  
• Green
  
• Blue

all of which you can find in locations that match their difficulty level and travel distance.

I'm too lazy to make this chapter the right way but I also think that the books situation is generally clear. I personally underestimated the importance of reading them, so just know that without them the grind will be very very long.

So our next step is to upgrade BS in Crafting-Tool Bench to be able to craft new slingshots, because it's kinda easier than repairing, at the start.



For example Anling crafts 3 Wood Planks one by one, showing it to Cody each time and just like that -he learns the skill.


Now we craft 10 Cloth or Charcoal one by one. Better to read a book beforehand.


And you better use your SP on this one.

Next 2 BS in this category are not too hard to upgrade. But the last one... And of course it's also the most powerful BS in Crafting-Tool Bench category. Better to trade required components at the Survival Camp.


Crafting-Recycling Bench is also the most useful category because with his Advanced Skills he will make weapons and tolls way more powerful. We don't need this right now but remember about them.

I don't know why but THE MOST meaningful Advanced Skill for a COMBAT was placed in Crafting category. By applying Comprehension( you can apply it every time you saved up 100 exp) ALWAYS chose this skill, if possible The second screenshot is the old one. Added it just as an example.




The most useful AS for CRAFTING are:


Keep in mind that Duration skill has max lvl of 50. But after you max it...Therefore, do not rush to fully upgrade the crowbar. It is better to up this skill to the max and create a very durable crowbar and/or dagger and THEN fully upgrade them.

So this one is a bit controversial one. Because Cody always(if maxed) use 2 seeds and I didn't found it that much useful. So dunno.


In COMBAT there are only 5 AS. But keep in mind that this particular skill needs to be improved 50 times. i am still in process of achieving this.

AS Workout isn't enough. In order for Cody to kill zombies fast and easy(esp on latest days) you need also to improve Slingshot(and to use pallets).

So in IDEAL situation you upgrade AS Durable to max lvl, then Cody crafts a new very durable Slingshot and then you upgrade it to max. But... this is impossible in your first game. So upgrade your Slingshot as much as you can but not too much(I guess...)

All upgrades are important but first two should be upgraded foremost.
