Strength : 4
Perception : 5
Endurance : 9
charisma : 1

Agility : 8
Luck: 9

Traits:
- built to destroy [fallout.fandom.com] for the +3% crit chance. You can take Raul [fallout.fandom.com] to compensate the negative effect . But Jury rigging [fallout.fandom.com] should be enough
- skilled [fallout.fandom.com] for the + 5 skill points

There is a way to glitch it so the effect multiplies : If you use this at the beginning of the game, you will have the normal effects. However, if you re-apply it before going into the wasteland, the positive effect doubles but the negative effect doesn't, remaining at -10% XP. The trait can also be later reapplied at The Sink for a total of 15 points to all skills, while the penalty remains at -10%.

Weapons and Armour
Weapons

Ballistic Fist[fallout.fandom.com]
Paciencia (GRA)[fallout.fandom.com]
AER14 prototype [fallout.fandom.com]
Elijah's advanced LAER[fallout.fandom.com]
Holorifle [fallout.fandom.com]

Optional Weapons:
Pew Pew[fallout.fandom.com]
Li'l Devil (GRA)[fallout.fandom.com]

Why these weapons?

AER 14 has 2x critical multiplier decent crit damage. With proper buffs you can reach 95% crit chance.
Paciencia 2x crit multiplier, insane crit. damage. You can easily out damage the Anti Material Rifle with a single critical damage. Add some perks to the solution and some aid items and you end up one shotting Rawr or the Legendary Deathclaw (Sneak+ my perks + challaneg perks, Hollow Point rounds + Slasher+Psycho.Too lazy to count but the damage is well over 1000)
Ballistic Fist: strongest unarmed weapon. One can argue that the Two-Step Goodbye[fallout.fandom.com] is better well, it's just my preference :P.
Elijah's advanced LAER hybrid weapon: 1.5x crit good damage, insane dps. Downside is low durability but I know a way to combat that.
Holorifle Really good raw damage.
Tri-beam laser rifle good damage and crit

Armour and Headgear

for starters take the Armoured Vault 21 Jumpsuit[fallout.fandom.com]
Then Vault 34 security armour [fallout.fandom.com]
After finishing Dead Money Sierra Madre armor, reinforced [fallout.fandom.com]
After finishing Honest Hearts Joshua Graham's armor[fallout.fandom.com]
Finally Ulysses' Duster[fallout.fandom.com] from Lonesome Road

Headgear
1st Recon beret[fallout.fandom.com]
Rebreather [fallout.fandom.com]
Walktrough
Early start-In Goodsprings go to the general store and sell your stuff and buy a Spiked Knuckles.
(You can do the Ghost Town Gunfight or the Run Goodsprings Run but it's non essential)
Beret
-Anyway, head to Novac to take the Quest: One for My Baby. You will receive the 1st recon beret there.
Implants
Go to Vegas, hit the casinos and get banned from each and every one of them. Now you have a handful of caps and since you have 9 endurance you can buy all the implants from the New Vegas medical clinic[fallout.fandom.com]
Weapons and preparing for the DLCs
Run to Bonnie Springs [fallout.fandom.com] and take Love and Hate [fallout.fandom.com]
Then hit vault 22 to get the AER 14 prototype.
Also, Vault 34[fallout.fandom.com] for the armour
DLCs
you can change the order but this way you get stronger faster

OWB
  • Find Elijah's Advanced Lear and all the mods for it
  • From implants Y-3 and Y-5 is the most useful but I recommend getting all of them
  • From perks:
  • -Reinforced spine[fallout.fandom.com]
  • -Big brained[fallout.fandom.com]-Heartless [fallout.fandom.com]
  • Optional: skill book recipes and upgrading the sink besides the auto doc
  • Christine's CoS silencer rifle[fallout.fandom.com] weaker alternative to paciencia
  • There are a few challanges that give you some additional damage to cazadores or night stalkers DNAvenger etc.
  • Retake the traits as I previously explained
Dead money
  • Get all the holorifle,Chem, stimpack, weapon repair kit and ammo mods
  • You can gamble in the sierra madre-> get banned -> recieve the Complimentary voucher which will be sent to the bunker every 3 days (free 1000 chips)
  • Also get the armour that I mentioned
  • For weapons use the bear trap fist you can find the mod for it where you leave God/Dog in
    Salida del Sol South
  • After completing the DLC you can access Elijah's terminal which will give you a holotape that you can bring to Veronica to decipher or to take it, if you take it for yourself then you will receive Elijah's Ramblings [fallout.fandom.com]
  • Don't forget to check the inbox for the chips :)
Honest Heats
Lonesome road
  • Hopefully you've gathered most of the armours and weapons that I've mentioned by the time you enter the DLC .
  • There isn't too much here either you want to get Ulysses Duster and that's it and take the perk point to strength.
  • Don't retrieve ED-E from the temple so you can get the Lonesome Road[fallout.fandom.com]
  • You can take the Elite riot gear[fallout.fandom.com] as a plan B armour when you are being shot at by an army
Few Notes
You must use light armour with this build so you can maximise your base critical chance of 28% which can be further increased to 33 or 38% with true police stories and comprehension. With this percentage and the crit multiplier that the weapons have and perks have you should be having 50+ crit chance. (aside from ballistic fist)

Lily's stealth girl [fallout.fandom.com] gives another 10% sneak dmg buff, but don't go for companions because of the lonesome road perk.

A few challenges can further increase your damage output:
lord death[fallout.fandom.com] and set lasers for fun[fallout.fandom.com]

For aid items you can use psycho and slasher[fallout.fandom.com] and yao guai meat[fallout.fandom.com].
You can further buff you unarmed damage with other consumable but I'd rather link the page[fallout.fandom.com] and let you find it

Almost forgot about the funny stuff:
  • If you apply the Holorifle reinforced components to the holorifle when it's 100% durability the game pretty much makes the gun unbreakable.
  • If you kill Rawr[fallout.fandom.com] you can take his claw rawr's talon and since it's a quest item when you enter dead money it won't be stripped away from your inventory then you can craft the weapon and enjoy the slaughter of ghost people. The rebreather is a quest item too so you can wear it in the DLC you get 3 DR aka you take 3% less dmg do not confuse it with DT that's completely different .

Well with this knowledge you can conquer the wastes with ease
