BUG AND SYSTEM INFO
GAME SYSTEM INFO

I run the game with my NVIDIA application using forced settings. AMD has one similar as my previous card was the RX7900 XTX. Gonna be honest for a good card mine crashed alot even on basic settings and many driver trials and installs. I have none of those problems now with my Nvidia card....but Anyway I run the game at 75FPS with VSYNC off using NVIDIA application and you can do this on either NVIDIA or AMD GPU cards as well. It may not matter but its something I wanted to share in case this has any impact on repeating the bug.

The Bug
I click the top corner of the board rapidly and look at the score. If it hits 300 I play. If not I hit escape and reenter the arcade machine to do this process again.

I did a play test and had it happen like this
  • 1 out of 15
  • 1 out of 7
  • 1 out of 20
  • 1 out of 11
  • 1 out of 18
  • 1 out of 6
  • 1 out of 3
  • 1 out of 16
  • 1 out of 16
Odds Average is about 1 in 13 chance to get it to hit 300.
This may vary by machine and GPU but its my personal odd chance for comparison.

Now you can easily hit 200 and this will happen way more often. You can also try your luck at 200 points as that should be plenty if your already hitting 900 points when you play normally on your good runs.

Try bottom right corner. I got consistently over 400!

AMD has frame rate target control options
Nvidia lets you do this as well per game.
You may need to add the game manually if it’s not in your game list.

You’ll need to download the apps based on your GPU if you have not. The generic control panels are not intuitive and may not support this.

How do I cap the FPS

I added some information that can at least show how my system is configured now and the odds for getting 300 points when mass reseting.

I agree. The minigame was so frustrating and a lot of luck to complete normally T-T
In my opinion it's valid to just use such a "bug", since grinding it for multiple hours is really not that enjoyable :)

I just spam click the top right and escape out if it’s not 300. You can try other corners as I have noticed others get patterns I almost never see. I was playing at 75 FPS and 144FPS settings from my nvidia control panel. It takes luck as the way you get 300 points is that the next two games will solve in that spot before they render. 1 in 15 at most but 1 in 10 is average for me.

Nice trick, but how rare is it to get 300 points from the start? I only get 200

I tried for a few hours. That RNG is too rare to be worth the effort. I hate using bugs but in this case I was at my wits end and I prefer the real game to this arcade one. Just wanted to get the achievement out of the way so I could focus on having fun in the game online :)

Nice trick, with some good rng it's possible to just do it normally too.
You just worked smarted, not harder xD
