Relatively yes, many people use mods, no problem.

I've been using mods in WuWa since day one, and it's actually pretty easy to implement. Although you're on your own and the developers don't support mods, like most games, so mod your game at your own risk.

We've only had one issue in the past that banned some people, but they weren't using mods like skins, they were using cheat mods, but I don't know and I'm not interested in how to implement them.

So the mods I'm going to teach you how to install here are "safe".

More about how mods work:

Mods in WuWa do not change the game files, they just make your video card process additional information on top of the characters (it is usually not very demanding, but if you have a very weak card, it can weigh on your performance).

Mods have two folders, one for the meshes, another for the textures that will be replaced and an .ini with the logic instructions.

There are a few mods websites for WuWa, the principal 3* are:

1. GAMEBANANA[gamebanana.com] (English Website)
2. https://arca.live/b/thingzyoa (Korean Website)
3. Hui站[www.huihui.top] (Chinese Website)
* Nexus Mods is also a good alternative, but I find far fewer mods there than on these other sites.

All of them (excluding Hui) need an account and have both SFW and NSFW mods.

Per description of the modders:
"WWMI is custom 3dmigoto build with extended API that is tailored for Wuthering Waves modding. It's required to load mods generated with WWMI Tools".

This is the launcher that is used to be able to play the game with mods, You have to Start the game via this launcher to see/render the mods.

After instaling WWMI you will need to set where the game is instaled.

To install mods you simply need to extract the mod into the mods folder in WWMI, you can open the mod folder using the 3 dots in the WWMI launcher -> Open Mods Folder.

Sometimes game updates completely break some mods. When this happens, it means that the character hashes have changed, and to fix this, there is a mod. So if a mod you have installed is broken, try fixing it with Wuthering 2.2 Full Fix[gamebanana.com]. Do give the modder some time to update the fix if it's a new patch.

Another reason why the character may present glitches is because you have more than one active mod, you can only have 1 (one) active mod per character/weapon/NPC.
