yep, this has happened, even though you can't pay through trades, these scammers result in forcing you to pay through paypal. From my research that is. If you have to pay$5000 just click decline trade and ban that mother of a paypal. If you become bankrupt good job let me call steam to help you!

All these and the rest are.......idiotic

If these messages are coming from some random dude just hit the report button! While if a friend sends you this, don't click it still. Why? they might of got hacked.

You see i was a victim of these phisers. One day....

My friend sends me this:
'hey funny cam photo come check it out {link}'
Hmmm, seems cool it's my closet friend on steam for crying out loud.
*click* Wait a white screen.........10 seconds later......white screen....
What a troll. Let me go message this brat.
His offline, let's visit his account....woah
No games? No xp? What the hell?

Suddenly,

The exact message went to ALL my friends
I was getting messages 'like Is this a troll? and what the hell is this?'
while two of my friends said it was a phiser's cause
Luckily no harm to account after 6 weeks of the incident

Ok, this scam is rare to receive so don't worry. but the damage this deals is OVERWHEALMING!
The scam involves a legit trade where the bot will talk like a normal person (good grammer and all)
while the victim will believe it, trade accepted and all of your items and even your whole account now belongs to a scammer

Think that's Damaging?
Contacting steam will not help in this situation since by then the bot will have already renamed the account and un verify everything to not allow steam to track the account.

Ever played a tf2 server, where a girl was playing? Just like skype's infamous girl bots
steam is now leaking with girls that want you to view their fake pictures and join up a legit looking website
