using "mat_crosshair," I've found that the location of the gray brick texture is "brick/urban_brickwall_05a.vtf" and the yellow brick texture is "brick/urban_brickwall_05c.vtf."
The creator of the mod forgot to darken urban_brickwall_05c.vtf because it wasn't used in l4d2 maps.
