A Rising Dread & Mini-games
With the exception of certain choices, you must give the correct item to each customer. Offering a wrong plant or elixir will increase your Rising Dread. Failing three times will take you to one of two mini-games which you must complete in order to resume the day, starting with the customer you failed to help.

In the first mini-game, you must reassemble the pieces of a silver icon. Fragments that have been connected to other fragments will snap together and move as one piece freely around the center of the circular staging area. Match the lines of the design on the icon to reassemble the pieces correctly.

In the second mini-game, you must identify the key with the proper shape to fit the lock in the center, which has three chains. Drag the chosen key to the center of the mechanism to unlock each chain, one at a time. Using a false key will cause the keys to shuffle positions. You will need to identify three keys from an increasing number of false keys (4, 10, and 20).

The mini-games will appear each time you fail to identify the correct item three times in one day. The mini-games will alternate and do not seem to have a limited number of occurrences. The “Hint” button can also be used to provide the name of the customer's desired item but will not identify the plant for you.
