Kingpin is a health tanking perk deck that solely relies on the injector. The injector is a very great tool for both objective pushing, retreating, and changing cover which is why kingpin is still crowned as one of the best objective pushers in the game to date. Unfortunate that some people can't access it anymore due to licensing issues, however there's alot of dlc unlockers u can download and if u want one, I suggest personally dming me. Kingpin works by reducing the dmg taken by 75% (technically heals 75% of the dmg taken DURING injector usage) so in turn, u only take 25% of the dmg however, if u are below 50% hp, u will heal 100% of the dmg which equates to pure invincibility. But, the catch is that shotguns deal more damage than ur max hp so anything with shotguns will wreck ur poor hp so avoid Shotgun cops, Green Dozers, etc. Kingpin also makes every enemy target you because kingpin actually increases your aggro / targeting stat to almost 1000 which is why when using the injector, it is a great tool for team support, because enemies will swap aggro to u for 6 seconds (duration of the injector) which allows u to use those 6 seconds to push, retreat, or revive. Kingpin's injector cooldown cannot be reduced by killing cops but rather, through how much healing u receive while the injector is active. You heal by tanking dmg using ur ARMOR, the heal amount isn't specified but from experience its usually 100% of the dmg taken when I take any armor shot. The more healing u get, the more the injector's cooldown is reduced

In order to utilize kingpin u should first assess if the situation requires; moving to a different area but the area is filled with cops, clearing an objective surrounded by cops, reviving or taking aggro to support ur ally's retreat, etc. Kingpin should be used supportively rather than selfishly. However, u can also use kingpin for ur own benefit such as; healing, taking out dozers surrounded by other cops, panic button (used when ur hp is very low), moving to a different area, or when ur unsure if u can survive clearing a wave of cops that just spawned / arrived to a location. Use kingpin supportive and objectively, never be selfish.

as stated, kingpin works greatly with a lot of skills, and weapons. Here are a few to name:


Kingpin greatly benefits from hostage taker and converts because with converts, u can gain a 3-shot health pool from Heavy swats meaning, u can tank 2 heavy swat shots without the injector and as for Hostage taker, Kingpin's injector can be reduced by killing cops but only 1 second per kill, so HT is a great skill to use during that downtime in order to save on FAKs (First aid kits), or if ur running a different deployable. HT works great as another alternative of healing and converts works best because of its 3-shot healthpool. As early as possible, get a convert (any) in order to get that 3 shot healthpool, and HT is an optional skill HOWEVER is greatly beneficial to kingpin builds in general.


Bullseye needs no explanation, armor gating, using it to heal during a kingpin injection, etc. However, Die Hard Aced is used because generally kingpin builds use LBV, (Light Ballistic Vest) why? Light swats deal 67.5 dmg and aced DHA gives LBV a total of 70 armor (from 50) and because of its great concealment and movement, it is generally the preferred armor pick infact, it is THE only armor pick kingpin should use because it can survive a lot of dmg, while healing u in the meantime. If u need concealment, get Inner Pockets basic / aced if ur building crits.

FAKs dont need an explanation, they're like a lifeline just like stoic needs FAKs to work, however Inspire basic instead of aced u ask? well since u have the injector, if u dont have enough points inspire basic is sufficient to revive teammates, just inject and revive then get out. Aced of course because its a good skill that atleast 1 member should have.

No explanation needed. Just get Inner pockets basic / aced if equipping the LBV steals ur concealment from 23 to something higher like 26.

Any AR with good ammo pickup, great DPS, and good stability.

Gecko 7.62 (its only 71 dmg, its good enough)
AMR-16 (use Ammo bags instead of FAKs, but use HT Aced + Kingpin injection for healing instead)

Desert Fox (good conceal, and has suppressor to reduce cop aggro)
R700 (Decent dmg, not enough to 1 shot headshot tasers, and medics, needs crits to do it, but has an excellent clip size of 10)
Platypus (if u want crits, go: The Professional Aced, High value target Aced, and Low blow basic)

Izhma (self-explanatory, use Tombstone or Dragon's Breath)
Akimbo VD-12s (great akimbos, great wave clearing ability)
Akimbo Goliaths (king of Akimbo shotguns)

If u want to maximize kingpin in order to survive and win heists, play smart with ur injector. If u inject, try proccing Bullseye basic to armor gate and maximize getting healed in order to reduce the injector cooldown greatly, Always get converts regardless if they're heavy swats or not ONLY DURING EARLY GAME in order to enjoy a nice 3 shot health pool, don't inject if ur playing passive only use it when u plan to move to cover through a open area or secure objectives in order to make proper use of the injector, use it for revives especially clearing a room of cops before allies enter a room / area, save first aid kits and rely on Hostage Taker / Kingpin healing to heal health only use FAKs if u dont have time to wait for heal or ur being rushed and need instant health, and lastly always remember to use kingpin for supporting ur teammates because of its cop aggro.
