DK Bowcaster (DX11)

(DX11 Supported) This mod is based off of the wookie bowcaster from Star Wars. I made this mod mostly to experiment with the new weapon modding features. I am still fairly inexperienced with modelling and texturing so as I get better I may revisit the model/textures of this mod. This mod adds a new weapon with new ammo, sounds, model, and assembler recipes. This mod is compatible with survival although it is not necessarily balanced for survival.

To get the bowcaster in game you must build it at an assembler. If you are in survival you must also build the ammo (Bowcaster Quarrel) which is under the components tab in the assembler.


EDIT: Thanks to Sektan I was able to solve my sound problem! The bowcaster now produces the classic Star Wars blaster sound without an overlay of distortion. For anyone having problems with sound modding: make sure your .xwm files are in mono!
EDIT2: The sound has been changed to an actual bowcaster sound. At the moment the sound effect in the video is not the correct sound. I may upload a new video in the future but I will leave the old one up for now.
EDIT3: The model has been updated so the screenshots are no longer accurate. I will try and upload some new screenshots soon.
