WIP Notice
This guide is a work in progress, and I have gone through and categorized patterns 0-300 as of January 8, 2025. I'm working to go through all of the patterns and categorize them, though I'm doing this manually so please bear with me as I work on it and update this guide. I am currently working on getting new reference images to use and recategorize both currently listed and more patterns.
About
The Rainbow Spoon skin appears to work similar to the Heat Treated where both are pattern-based and notably lack a Finish Style. The Rainbow Spoon has its float capped at 0.554422, making it rarer in Battle-Scarred than normal. I'd overall describe it almost as a "Heat Treated with inverted Fade", as for the most part the traditionally desired Fade colors (basically not gold/yellow) are by and large the most prominent and will still be present even among the top tier "gold/pink gems". Though an "average" pattern will have a large majority of the skin consisting of those colors with areas of gold/yellow mixed in primarily on the bottom of the rear of the stock, the front of the receiver around the left hand holding the Galil, and the rear iron sight. The most prominent colors are gold/yellow, pink, purple, blue, and green.

Categories

This leads me to want to break down the patterns into 3 general categories:
  • Market/Average patterns
  • "Fade Gems" (due to how new the skin is, and a lack of any guide previous to this one, this is what I'm calling gems that lack gold/yellow)
  • "Other Gems"

Misc. & Motivation

I wanted to make this guide due to how new the Rainbow Spoon is, and the fact that no other guide (as far as I could find) exists on it at the time of writing. Therefore, the names of different gems, unique recognized patterns, and other nuances of this skin have yet to circulate and be recognized, so I hope this serves as a starting point for those interested in this skin.
Fade Gems
#1
NOTE: UNTIL THIS GUIDE IS FINISHED, THIS IS ONLY THE CURRENT BEST PATTERN I'VE FOUND, THE SAME WILL APPLY TO #2 WHEN I ADD IT AS A SECTION AS WELL
The #1 Fade Gem is: 44

#2
The #2 Fade Gem is: 284

Tier 1
Tier 1 Fade Gems have the smallest amount of gold/yellow out of all other patterns. These aren't particularly rare, though I define these as having the least amount of gold/yellow, particularly on the lower part of the stock, by the left hand on the receiver, and minimal/no gold/yellow otherwise in various places depending on each individual pattern. NOTE: This guide is a WIP and everything thus far has been personally and manually categorized by myself. What exactly is/will be considered a true T1/T2 etc is subject to change as the community comes to a consensus with time. I have simply categorized them by eyeballing it to the best of my ability.
The Tier 1 patterns are: 0, 1, 3, 25, 44, 58, 106, 113, 116, 142, 148, 168, 175, 185, 201, 202, 204, 225, 245, 251, 253, 271, 279, 284, 297, 299,

Tier 1.5
Tier 1.5 Fade Gems are gems that have just enough gold/yellow to not be what I'm considering a true Tier 1, but are still very good and would otherwise be classified as a very good Tier 2. These may have a single spot of gold that's noticeable but would otherwise be a Tier 1 if that spot weren't there. [Note: Many of these are here because they're better than simply putting them in the same category as Tier 2, but I'm not certain enough to put them into Tier 1 just eyeballing them without going through more patterns to properly categorize them better.]
The Tier 1.5 patterns are: 7, 16, 48, 53, 54, 60, 69, 96, 108, 109, 111, 114, 117, 119, 125, 134, 145, 159, 169, 215, 222, 228, 233, 234, 237, 250, 259, 260, 263, 266, 267, 273, 275, 280, 288,

Tier 2
Tier 2 Fade Gems have a minimal amount of gold/yellow out of all other patterns. These are often fairly similar to T1 Fade Gems, though are distinct in that they tend to have more gold/yellow bleeding or maybe a small spot of gold/yellow in the most common areas, but are otherwise still the Fade colors by and large.
The Tier 2 patterns are: 2, 5, 13, 19, 30, 33, 36, 51, 61, 62, 66, 67, 91, 107, 115, 120, 123, 127, 138, 147, 158, 163, 165, 170, 174, 176, 190, 206, 213, 219, 224, 232, 239, 262, 272, 283, 294, 300,

Tier 3
Tier 3 Fade Gems have a limited amount of gold/yellow on a limited area of the Galil, primarily characterized by gold/yellow bleeding on edges and having only a small amount of gold/yellow otherwise. These can otherwise just be known as "notable good fade patterns" rather than being a true "gem". For the purpose of this guide, these are simply patterns that are generally better than average, and (as of now) isn't exhaustive. There are patterns that I haven't included here that would fall under this category.
The Tier 3 patterns are: 9, 18, 21, 23, 31, 34, 35, 64, 71, 72, 86, 92, 99, 104, 105, 136, 137, 151, 160, 161, 189, 216, 217, 221, 235, 236, 242, 244, 249, 254, 255, 287, 290, 291, 295,

Other Gems
Gold/Pink Gems
Gold/Pink Gems have most of their color being made up of gold and/or pink (most often) as when gold/yellow is one of the most prominent colors featured from a pattern index, it often has a pink or slightly purple tinge in many areas. For those looking for these kind of gems, they won't be clean, but these are some of the best ones I've found. Note: I will be fleshing this section out after I get the Fade gems all documented, but I've put a couple here just because they were notable. So yes, there are more than what are listed.
The Gold/Pink Gems are: ..., 238, 243, 246, ...
Pictured: Pattern Index 246

Other Colored Gems
I am primarily focusing on Fade and Gold/Pink gems for now, but I will add more gems that I find here later as I update this guide. Just know there are pattern indexes that primarily feature one of the colors as the most prominent color similar to Fade gems primarily featuring purple & green.
Unique/Recognized Patterns
Due to how new the Rainbow Spoon is, and the lack of info in the form of guides or otherwise, there are no unique/recognized patterns as far as I am aware. If there are, feel free to let me know!
