Set your resolution

You have to set the resolution in the config. It has to match your desktop resolution. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\IL 2 Sturmovik 1946 - Conf

@That Guy Iam running version 4.12.2 not 12.2.2.

@That Guy Try the Values of the config i posted in the guide.

@That Guy I run the game without compatibility mode, win11, nvidia gpu, latest drivers, version 12.2.2. Actualy compatibility mode made it worse, so keep everything off. 1. Uninstall the game and delete the remaining folder, make shure the config file is gone. 2. After reinstalling, mess around with the resolution: Set your desktop and the config resolution the same. Start at 800x600 and work your way up the list of your available desktop resolutions. 3. Try different game versions using the beta tab in steam.

Ok, so I went through and have done all of that already.

right click on Computer -> properties -> Advanced System Settings -> Advanced -> Perfomance -Data Execution Prevention.
Click "add" and choose il2fb.exe in folder

Disable fullscreen optimization and put high dpi scaling on app controlled

Dang Hondo, I deleted the game, tried this with the fresh install, tried windows compatibility, no dice. This game is my favorite and any/ all help is much appreciated.
