After a long break from mapping i've finally decided to get back into the game. A lot of blood, sweat and tears went into this map. I cannot fathom how hard things have been for me in the past years (starting onward from 2019 on), but i'm glad i overcome my inner battles and decided to dedicate to another project again. I hope to show people a glimpse of what i want to cook up in 2025. This map has been a special project entirely dedicated to the Espresso Servers and its amazing community. I even asked someone to help me and the person delivered big time (Thanks Mimi). Normally this map was supposed to be delivered on Christmas, but some issues persisted.

In order to celebrate Christmas properly i decided to deliver this map on the 2nd day of Christmas to even up the Christmas spirits. There may be some bugs on this map, so please report them if possible. I haven't been able to test the respawn properly, but from my past experiences i imagine it to be working properly.

The original Citycraft design can be found on my Youtube page: https://youtu.be/EZgTrRI2po0
For more (Cut) Content and WIP maps, you can visit the playlist on my Youtube Page, called Lost Archives: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLsf9c5KPzkxNZbdMRjkq7THOLFrtxFhRO

Anyways, i hope everyone gets to enjoy the holidays warmly and cosy with friends, family or (Nmrih) pals, whether that experience may be online or offline. Everybody deserves to have a fruitful and enjoyable life.

Map is made by Fersigal (originally) and Mimi

Lastly i want to dedicate a word of appreciation for the community of Espresso. They are all amazing people and this map wouldn't exist without the proper dedication of some people on there. My utter thanks go out to:
  • Mimi: For helping me with the design of the map, being extra helpful, nice and insightful
  • Kevin: For helping me playtest the map
  • Fleez: For being ultra tryhard and telling me that the map is not hard enough, well i guess it's probably still not hard enough, sorry not sorry xd.
  • Moodie: For being extra moodie and helpful
  • Espresso Community: For enabling me to playtest the map and fix the blind spots on the map

I'm sorry if i forgot someone, if i did well sorry, be free to tell me in the comments
This map was made with lots of love and dedication, but in the end it might still not be enough. There's always room for improvement, but for now i hope i can give something that people will thoroughly enjoy.

Here to a nice 2025 with lots of love, laughter and happiness. Happy Fersmas :)

Yours Sincerely

Fersigal

Map is perfect for 2 - 4 (seasoned) players. Any more will make this map like a walk in the park.

6931, it can be found by breaking paintings, but 1 painting is unbreakable . For more info you can check the guide of Slap Happy with all the secrets of the map: https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3305232181

What's the code for a place under the sewer?

Thanks i'm aware of both issues, i'm taking a long break for now, i kinda need to plan out if i want to add new sections and if the adding of a Homer Boss would be feasible / useful.

Thanks for the feedback Amaroth and the obvious nice words of course. I'll be looking into making more maps like these towards the future, but i also tend to make at least 2 last polished ones, but it's unsure how that'll fare towards the future since i've came across some issues on nmo_augsburg with brush / solid limits (also plans for shelter2).

I'm drawing plans to thrive the map towards the limits by adding a boss (Homer Simpson) area, but i might just make a separate upgraded alternative version on the workshop since it will be a huge gameplay boost / difference and i'm not to keen on adding to much micro updates anymore since it can be conflicting for server owners (from what i've heard).

Anyways happy 2025 and thanks for the extensive playtesting. I added a recent gameplay video showcasing most of the secrets on the map.

Hello Fersigal, I'm a regular player on the zombie dome server and I got a video of the server completing it on nightmare. video was recorded before the first update for the map, but it might still have some useful feedback.

The map itself has like one noticeable flaw now, which is zombies spawning out of thin air in one section. not a huge one but definitely noticeable. overall it's a good map.

Glad to see you back making maps again and I hope to see more from you in the future, including what you have planned for your next update to citycraft.

Thanks to Mimi as well, you helped Fersigal on making citycraft and that shouldn't go unnoticed.

I think Ryan's house should be renamed to George's or Roy's house. Good map

I'm glad you are adequate in evaluating yourself and your work - I appreciate that. If the author is capable of self-criticism, then he is doing well. I admit that I might not have known everything, and that I might have reacted a little differently to this map, although I still think that this view is sober and adequate. Nevertheless, I just evaluated it and move on, nothing more.

Thanks for the detailed reply, I'll look forward to your serious maps. And take care of yourself from burnout - it's really heavy stuff.
