Original model was made to be a temporary solution until proper carriers could be made. But their tactical flexibility and cheap cost made them a core part of a fleet. With it being apart of the frigate line it was apart of the same fleet modernisation program, sadly probes where not able to be added to the design.

A lot of active pilots are stationed aboard Support frigates due to the lack of on site repairs, pilots must watch over there ships a lot more closely then usual unless there is a repair ship in the AO.
While not as fancy as a carrier or battlestar, most pilots consider there Support frigates it home.

this ship was made after the assault frigate, and thanks to the contact update it was made possible.
also had an older model all ready, but was obsolete by the time my new frigate came around.

This ship is designed for lore, and while it does work in survival, there are better options out there for you. Please note, it's not intended for PVP, so let's appreciate it for what it is.
