In many games from T5 upwards there are medics. Medics can use nano disruptors to repair damage sustained to allies at any point in a match. However attracting their attention can be difficult and often you can be left in a heap on the ground.

The easiest way to call a medic is to start chat (press enter) and say something like Medic needed (grid location). To get your grid location look on the bottom right of your screen at the minimap. If it is too small to read press M to enlarge it. Down the right hand side and the top side is a list of numbers and letters. First state the letter your robot is in and then the number. It should look something like this: "Medic needed D6".

In addition it may be helpful to state in what conditiion you are in i.e. "Medic needed crippled at F10" this way medics know whether they can actually help you. If you are a plane that has crash landed on a mountain, a wheeled medic will not be able to reach you but a walker could. (thanks to Mortus Eclipse for this idea)

If you are a medic constantly check chat to see if anyone nearby need help and make your way to them as quickly as possible.

If you have been fully healed by a medic, don't forget to thank them in chat!
