Amber Throne Story Recap and Summary
By LemonShoe
The story is quite hard to understand due to some typos, grammar and translation errors and undefined character ages but because I love this game so much for the messaging, gameplay, art and music I decided to simplify the story to make it easier to understand what the developers were trying to convey while giving my interpretations in-between.

I'm only going to warn you this once, this SPOILERS HEAVY. This is written for people who finished this game or are interested in getting a snip of the story, either way hopefully this is constructed well enough for you to understand what is going on and maybe come to terms with your own theories. I like to think I understand about 84% of the story so obviously there may be a few things I may have gotten wrong or misread, this is all how I conveyed the story to my interpretation.

Read this if you are interested, if you have already, thank you so much for checking this out and don't forget to give the developer some love as well. I'm just a fan who was recently super enthusiastic about this game, wanting to bring some attention to it 9 years later as of typing this recap.

While getting into the character backstory their age is undefined as different species the character fall understand made it so they live a long time. As for the human character, the wishing star made it so everyone lives a long time (or so I believe) so I won't focus on character ages too much because that part is confusing to get my head around, especially with Evelyn and Arra.

Dream Intro
  • There was once a girl (who appeared to be another girl from a different planet or Evelyn but I leading more the first speculation) who couldn't reach the star and wished for one to come down to her.
  • Her wish came true and a star did come down to her.
  • She uses the star to wish for things like building a castle or becoming a princess.
  • Soon the girl grew bored and released the star and all the wishes that come from it.

Prologue
Journal Coverage: Awakening, Princess Evelyn.

The Amber Throne takeover:
  • Now presumably on a different planet unconfirmed by the date after the Dream Intro.
  • Soldiers in bodied armour are infiltrating the Amber Throne order (we later find out they are humans from the Red City ordered by the Red King) to take it for themselves.
  • A girl named Arra was put to rest in a coffin.
  • A small part of The Amber Throne building escapes, flying high up in the sky as a Sky Castle.

  • Arra woke up in the coffin in a desert (maybe not that long after the Red Knights tried to invade The Amber Throne or about a century ago) remembering her last task told her father Axis was to find and “Destroy the Amber Throne" when she wakes up which is currently still high up in the clouds.
  • Arra sees that the Humans in the Red City manage to build flying ships now seamlessly planning to use them to reach The Amber Throne.
  • Arra sneaks herself inside the Red City where they wouldn't allow foreigners.
  • With the help of a mysterious person with white hair known as the Stranger (Evelyn) Arra snuck inside the Red Castle to steal one of the airships to reach the Amber Throne.
  • When Arra arrives in the castle she is alerted by The Red King who ends up fighting her one to one.
  • While fighting The Red King the Stranger snuck behind him stabbing him in the back and killing him.
  • We then find out the Stranger is no other than the Red City princess, Evelyn, the adopted daughter of the Red King who took it upon himself to take her under his wing after he failed to take control of The Amber Throne a while ago who uses Arra to stop the King and The White Sages corruption.
  • One of the White Sages,(Haisma, the second Fefniron) arrives on the scene chasing after Arra with threatening intent along with the other guards.
  • Arra managed to take a hostage to control one of the airships but it wasn't long before one of the White Sages (the first Fefniron) riding on the airship had it shot down forcing the ship to crash land.
  • After the princess had assassinated the King the 3 White Sages decided to keep her alive as hostage while she had most of the citizen's support.
Act 1
Journal Coverage: Goldwood Gateway, Karra, Nuo, The Minnik, Fall of a Kingdom and Ranionom.
  • Arra was rescued by an Arroc a bird-like being, Sirra in place dividing the mountain from the desert land. It is known as Divide.
  • A short person in a red cloak arrived in the crash sight, but before they could get any closer to Arra the rescuer flew away from the scene.
  • The figure helped get Arra treated by getting her people to heal her wound and get some rest in the cave.
  • After Arra is well and rested and interprets what had happened (because she is muted) the small figure known as Popelle joins the party recognising her as "a girl in blue, with a black crown" as told by her old friend who is older than Axis knowing a lot more about the world more about Arra past that may become of us to help Arra in her quest.
  • While exploring in the Divide the party finds Sehr is imprisoning anyone they came across in the cave to mine them for The Emperor to build their own airships.
  • Popelle takes Arra to a sealed gate. Behind it is where her 'friend' dwells the problem is no outers can get through unless they have the key to it which Popelle has (because she is originally from Goldwood).
  • We spotted one of the Red City airships (the one that shot Arra airship down entering Goldwood.
  • We fight Minnik who doesn't like visitors, fearing outsiders will try to take their sacred kingdom from them.
  • We are taught by one of the oldest Minnik elders, Goldwood, who had 4 Minnik Kings
    build a tower.
  • We visit Karra (one of Goldwood's villages) where Popelle used to live before she adventures off to other places (like the swamp). There we get the impression that Popelle's parents and the people living there are prejudiced against anyone not from Goldwood thinking they are better than outsiders.

Arra Flashback 1(we can get these flashbacks by going to bed at a certain point in the game):

  • Arra tried to escape from Axis's kingdom wanting to explore more of the world rather than staying put in one place. Axis caught up with her convincing her to return home and that she would be able to go out in the world when she's older.

  • While Popelle escorts Arra to the swamp where her 'friend' lives they encounter Nuo who later joins the party as a thank-you for finding Popelle and to find out why the Red Knights and One of The White Sages are going into The Swamp.
  • We visit a giant water funnel wall built by the Minniks. From there, Popelle gave us a mini history lesson on how the wall helped purify water running through that 3 of 4 Minnik Kings wanted to keep it within the Goldwood region but the Fourth Minnik King Popelle's friend opened the canal to the rest of the world to have. This is when all the other Minnik Kings started to resent them for their first action and the many discussions they don't agree with.
  • The party manages to find Popella's friend' who ends up being The Fourth King but they are hanging by a thread but still us of knowing about Arra and her father Axis as well as telling a story of how the first Amber Throne came to be for the first time (at least in this planet).

    The first Amber Throne story:

  • Once a star flies from the sky.
  • Among the people who witness the star 4 the assumed wisest Minnik became King using the star's power to build the purest city isolated within the gate where everyone is immortal but they cannot escape out.
  • Out of desperation many people revolted against feeling trapped inside the gate so they broke it down causing the city and all the citizens to drown under the pure water that surrounded it dying in the process or becoming ghosts of their former selves.
  • The only thing of substance that remains is the Amber Throne seed (suggesting other stars landed on the planet and this isn't the only one). The Amber Throne seed is what the Red Knight and One of the White Sages are after.

  • After recollecting the story the Fourth Minnik King died on the spot after many years of being alive.
  • We reach Sunken City where the First Amber Throne first take place.
  • There we fight the phantom of the Minnik who drowned in the city desperately wanting to be put to rest, and the rest of the Fourth King who became hostile towards the party, mentally clingy to the past of when their city was pure.
  • Reaching the top of the Sunken City we fought with Harpsichord (the Knight Kingdom general) and the Red Knight
  • After winning the battle Harpsichord honourably allows us to deal with Amber's seed, but warns us about the White Sages going after One of them that enters Goldwood meaning he and his soldier are not allied with them and only on Princess Evelyn's side.
  • With the Amber seed at our feet Popella explains it wasn't giving life to the Minnik but stealing it from the rest of the world, that's why everywhere else outside of Goldwood is desert whereby in it is not and why they isolate themselves from the rest of the world.
  • After failing to destroy the Amber seed the crowd went to Karra to stop to Red Knight's invasion of the village.
  • There we encounter one of the the White Sages named Ranionom requesting to have the Amber petal revealing themselves as being no original sage becoming some sort of other being known as Fefniron.
  • After defeating Ranionom and saving Karra Popella confronted her mother wanting nothing more to do with Goldwood and following becoming an original girl.
  • We found Nuo has built his own custom airship and we can now use it to travel to other places (in a gameplay sense we can fast travel).
  • We cut to another scene where we see Evelyn still alive and has many people supporting her.
  • The Second White Sage (Hasima) uses the airship to reach with Evelyn sneaking inside of one of them.
Act 2
Journal Coverage: Exiled, Sierra, Arkenaut, Fefniron's Ship, Centennial Chamber, The Peak, The Arroc and Sky Battle.
  • While we explore other land we find plants start to blossom and come to life after the Amber seed in Goodwood was removed
  • Going to the east side of Divide we rescue the Sehr and one of Arroc's prisoners who rescue Arra from crashing in the flying ship.
  • We learn Arroc's name is Sierra and the revealed motive of the White Sage which is to take the Amber Throne for their selfish desire. He also explained he was exiled from his clan for wanting to take action against the Fefniron and the humans but the Apocrypha law forbids Arroc from doing so and they obey the law to a crisp even if it harms them.
  • Sierra invited us to visit the tower which is full of exile Arroc
  • We head over to the peak of Mount Arkenaut where we will find the Arroc King so we can wake him up and convince him to change the Apocrypha law so Arroc can take action to prevent the humans and the Fefniron from reaching the Sky Castle where The Amber Throne and Axis is located.
  • Optional: Supplies can be found and spent in one of the Arroc camp towers, where most exiled Arroc take refuge.

    Arroc History (told by Sierra):

  • An old Arroc (presumably the Arroc King) created the storm that Arroc can use with their spear, but they later found out it can be used to deal harm where they were (presumably) convinced by the Fefniron to use it for selfish desire.
  • After that revelation they created a law known as Apocrypha which is used for Arroc to follow to prevent them from being tempted by the Amber Throne and the Fefniron.

  • We walk to the pathway directly to Mount Arkenaut with no problem with other Arrocs as they and humans have been at peace with each other for many years. The Sehr are not welcome though.
  • While walking on large chains connected to Mount Arkenaut we find the Red Knights are trying to blow it up to separate the floating mountain away as and infiltrating the Arroc village to kill their Queen and the King which is easy for them as the Arroc are not fighting back more confused on what has transpired with the humans fighting them for an unknown reason.
  • Hasima murdered Queen Porculienne (Arroc Queen) with no resistance from her now making it easier for them to take the Sky Castle for themselves with no problem. Their next target, the Arroc King, is high up at the Peak of Aarkenaut.

Mini Arroc lore (found in the Arroc library):

  • While the world was filled with corruption and it was applied that it was Arroc's nature do to unprecedented deeds when tempted, the Arroc King created the Apocrypha law as a safety measure to prevent any of the Arroc from being subjected to doing any harm.
  • The Apocrypha gets updated every century by the Arroc King with a special spear without any biases on his part interfering while they hibernated at the top of the Peak of Aarkenaut throughout the time-period.

    Arra Flashback 2:

  • Arra is drawing a picture trying to remember what Axis had looked like before he took The Amber Throne (currently he is wearing a dragon mask).
  • Axis came to visit her, asking to return to his family, but Arra replied, asking what else he was hiding about the Amber Throne if he was wearing a mask.

  • Sierra finally joins the party wanting to move on from the past.
  • While going up to the Peak of Aarkenaut we encounter a spire that we power up by using the Amber Throne seed to revisit Sierra's past centuries ago (presumably).

Sierra Past (during the time the Sky Castle is in the air):

  • There is when the Sehr were at war with Arroc.
  • Porculienne and Sierra were lovers.
  • The Arroc were taking the humans as refugees escaping from the Axis kingdom when it seems Axis was corrupted by the Amber Throne at some point).
  • Sierra was close to the King being his former knight and the one who would lead his people along with Porculienne while the King hibernated.
  • Before the Arroc King was about the hibernate Sierra questioned about changing Apocrypha law or the process of changing it every century.
  • Out of pettiness for his own people and cowardness Sierra abandons his not wanting to stick to the past.

  • Encounter Evelyn and Harpsichord challenging Haisma's authority where we find out they have the same goal of reaching the Sky Castle but for what reason Evelyn wants it we have yet to find out other vaguely ending all world suffering. We also find out the Fefniron has been helping the humans craft their airships.
  • We managed to reach the Peak of Aarkenaut and wake Arroc King up.
  • Before engaging in combat the Arroc King past Sierra the spear that could be used to change the Apocrypha law. By that point, Haisma had killed the Arroc King.
  • We managed to defeat and kill Haisma.
  • Sierra became Arroc's hero, doing so he used the spear Arroc King gave him to make it so Arroc could take flight and prevent the Amber Throne from being taken from someone who can easily be fooled by temptation or make bad decisions in creating their kingdom allowing the Amber Throne to continue feeding off the world.
  • Now we allied with Arroc, Evelyn and Harpsichord.
  • For now we know there has 3 Amber Gods, the Minnik (who tried to build an enclosed utopia), The Arroc (who tried to live as immortal beings in the floating mountain) and Axis.
  • Evelyn believes she is the rightful heir to the Amber Throne.
  • Believing we have the advantage the Arroc take flight to keep the Red Knight occupied and force them to retreat while we use Nuo airship to try to reach the Amber Throne.
  • We encounter a mechanic machine program to control the weather and have a thick body build that is hard to pierce through preventing us from getting any closer to the Amber Throne for now.
Act 3
Journal Coverage: Crowns, Empire Oracles, Oora, Evelyn's Aim, Axis' Kingdom, White Crown, Betrayal, Tower of Fire.

  • For now we return to the Red City while Evelyn is in charge.
  • We fight against the Sehr with Evelyn, Harpsichord and Auchire (another Red Knight commander) who made it inside the Red City while the Red Knights were busy trying to enter the Sky Castle so they could distract them from planning to reach Amber Throne.
  • Harpsichord was injured in that battle.

    Arra Flashback 3:

  • Axis showcases Arra 2 crowns, one white and one black explaining to her she will take the white crown and that he will eventually take the black crown and stand silent so he can keep hiding secrets about the kingdom.
  • Harpsichord speaks to Arra while he is recovering from his injury, explaining Evelyn is after the white crown, which is located at a place where Axis's Kingdom used to be on the ground before it was raided by the Red King. The black serpent sword, a weapon that can harm the Amber Throne is in the same location.
  • Harpsichord also warned Arra about Evelyn having her motive to take the Amber Throne for herself (to become an Amber God and complete the maturity stage).

  • We spoke to Evelyn before she exited the Red Kingdom trusting her less and less. She says she's going to Axis's old temple near Oora.
  • While following Evelyn's path, we meet up with Oboa, who mocks other dead and injured Sehrs from trying to take the Red Kingdom. We also found out all the slave labour held by held were collecting materials for big a airship (which was the most fortified one we had ever seen).
  • We fight against Emperor Oracle (one of Emperor Son's) on a massive tank cannon alongside with Oboa who decided to join us to fight his brother.
  • Oboa was injured from the battle, but he lifted a blood trail that we follow him from.
  • Evelyn spotted Arra following her, warning her to not follow.
  • Meeting up with Oboa, he explains the Emperor is close to his goal of reaching the Sky Amber by building a giant airship known as the flying ship. Hearing this Sierra concluded that Demiron (the third and last remaining Fefniron) must be helping the Sehr now to do this.
  • Oboa join the party to direct them to meet up with his brother, Gendio one of the rebellions to diverse a plan to prevent The Emperor's plan from working.
  • We met up with Gendio.

How the war between the humans and Sehr started (told by Gendio in Sehr philosophy):

  • Once there were 2 towers of equal; a white tower, the tower of nature of the golden serpent and a black tower, the tower of the burning fire.
  • Once the black tower outgrew the other one, Axis, with the wishing star design, changed his appearance as the golden serpent tried to rebalance them again.
  • The Emperor didn't like what Axis was doing so he pleaded a war against him with other races like Arroc joining in the fight.

    Arra Flashback 4:

  • We see human rebellion building burning from afar in Axis and Arra points. Axis disregards as a phase.
  • Axis retells a story of a black serpent sword used to injure corrupted Amber Gods. Only one remains.
  • Arra seems to managed to get hold of the black sword at some point.

  • We arrived at Axis old Kingdom (before he escaped with the Amber Throne in the sky) looking more mechanical and wasted than before.
There the party witnesses dead bodies still being consumed by blue vines and machinery attacking them.

Flashback during the Red Knight raiding old kingdom:

  • 3 coffins, each with (I presume) Axis daughter except Arra (put to rest or hibernation).
  • The knight slays the girls in the coffin except for one (the Red King), who turns out to be Evelyn, revealing she's Arra's sister.

  • We encounter Evelyn (alongside with Auchire), finding the white crown and black serpent sword they were looking for.
  • Evelyn explained she and Arra are sisters moulded to take over The Amber Throne once the Axis legacy has to transpire but Arra kept rejecting it wanting humans to solve their own problems without any outer world power interference even if the world was in ruin and is dying whereas Evelyn believe she is the chosen and wants to use Amber Throne to enrich the lively hood of everyone else of her own dreams and desire without their consent.
  • Evelyn engages in combat against us.

    Arra Flashback 5:

  • While the human rebellions are slowly breaking into the Axis kingdom, Arra stabs Axis in the back with the black serpent sword, weakening him and forcing him to retreat to the sky later on.
  • Arra wore the black crown from the grief of stabbing her father to prevent herself from thinking and speaking about rebelling against him again.

  • During the fight Arra started to remember her resolve to pursue Evelyn with a greater purpose to stop her.
  • Evelyn retreated with the white crown, leaving behind the black serpent sword as she now had the means to have access to The Amber Throne.
  • Arra destroys The Amber Throne seed from Goldwood with the black sword.
  • Oboa betray Arra by stealing the black sword and escaping with it dealing with the Emperor with it when he has the chance to.
  • Gendio join the party replacing Oboa for now.
  • When we return to the Sehr rebellion camp, we find the Emperor is bribing the Sehr naturalists with money, making them side with him more with their leader's visions.
  • While travelling through The Sehr Empire, we see all the hard slave labour contribution had actually worked, resulting in a massive whale-looking airship laying off from the ground and flying over to The Amber Throne.
  • We defeated Sehr Oracle in combat presumably killing them.
  • Using Nuo airship we fly into the whale-looking ship the Sehr managed to build. Inside we finally discover the third Fefniron (Demiron) in the ship with its body being used like an engine to power up the ship whereby Sehr volunteers themselves as a sacrifice to fuel the ship (it seems) with the promise the world will be rebuilt for their selfiness.
  • Once we remove Demiron's connection with the ship, we find Ooba is holding it hostage with the black serpent pierced through it and threatening to deal with his father at once, believing it is his one chance to end this. Gendio went after his brother.
  • Finally we get an introduction to the Emperor but find Gendio has died at his hands.
  • The Emperor betray Demiron's trust believing he can harness without following the desire of The Amber Throne.
  • Before Demiron makes a move The Emperor one-shot it to death.
  • We engage in a long drawn-out battle against the Emperor who has very high durability and tankiness. During the fight, the Emperor grab hold of Arra and monologues how he hates himself believing the things he does are essential for survival and in nature.
  • Evelyn's massive airship enters the scene neck to neck with The Emperor trying to be the first to enter the Sky Castle clouds.
  • We escape in Nuo ships before more damage can be done from both ships fighting and reaching each other.
  • From then, Ooba returned to our side with a black sword after being convinced not to go on this destructive journey to go after his father.
Act 4
Journal Coverage: The Passage and Sky Castle.

  • Again we use Nuo airship to try to go through the Sky Cloud as we have the black sword to pierce through the mechanical creatures defensive.
  • Suddenly a lightning-stuck Nuo ship breaks the party apart crash landing on the Sky Castle.

    Arra Flashback 6:

  • Here we find out that instead of leaving Arra in a coffin behind with the rest of her sisters Axis had taken her to the Sky Castle feeling regrets for feeling he was the cause for her silencing herself.
  • Arra in a coffin fell out of the Sky Castle while you are deteriorating (that's how Arra ended up on the fall in away from the floating building at the start of the game.

  • We regroup back together with our party after the crash in the Sky Castle. Now it is a race between our team, Evelyn and The Emperor to see who will reach the Amber Throne first.
  • The Red Knight and Sehr are fighting against each other in the Sky Castle.
  • Using the white crown Evelyn controls the mechanic beast to strike lightning on the ground to separate the Emperor from The Amber Throne.
  • Climbing up to the top of the Sky Castle Arra reaches The Amber Throne holding it for anyone to take but Evelyn beats her to it.
  • There we find Axis is just a corpse holding the star that consumes him with the promise of wishes and dreams, but Evelyn under fault pretext and belief that she is the chosen one that will save her people when promises of no pain. So she has taken the star lighting brightness across the world.

    Arra Flashback 7:

  • Set after Minnik Kingdom had flooded and before Axis had access to the Amber Throne.
  • Soon another star landed on Vausca. Evelyn was the first person to encounter.
  • With the promise of the star granting her any wish Evelyn wishes for simple things like plants to blossom and the sky to become clearer.
  • Evenutally Evelyn first met Arra.
  • Arra transforms things back to the way they were (or how they should before any magical intervention or supernatural).[*This is a scene I'm still puzzled especially when Arra says she's died and is looking for heaven. Was the wishing star keeping her alive? Or is she a carbon copy of Evelyn? Many theories to come up with*]
Act 5
Journal Coverage: The Amber Throne.

  • Arra works up from her dreams.
  • Using Evelyn's host at the massive flower tree root Vausca is full of plants sporing out everywhere and white petals flying all over consuming people's wishes that they grant to it and turning them into cocoons or trapping them in roots. This is the maturity stage.
  • The flower star infests people this way to keep itself growing, eventually enough it will be able to produce star seeds to spread across to other planets then destroy the one it is rooted to and so on. This is the reproduction stage.
  • The crew fought through enemies trying to trap us by convincing us to grant them our wishes.
  • Up at the top of the Red Castle we climb to fight Evelyn head-on or try to convince her what she's doing is wrong and is destroying the planet.
  • Eventually, we reach the top of the castle and witness Evelyn still mourning the loss of her father. She can't bring him back, but she is still determined to save everyone under a delusion pretext.
  • Once Evelyn is defeated the star tries to persuade Arra to use it, later she is in another white realm where she encounters a dragon wearing a black crown offering her the choice to have the Amber Throne or not to let humanity fight for themselves. Arra makes the obvious choice that is in-character of her and that's by defeating the dragon, in doing so releases the wishing staroff far away from Vausca.[*I'm still uncertain of the scene between Arra and Dragon and what that whole interaction meant*].
  • After the star is gone every plant starts to vanish.
  • Arra was separated from all her party members with decaying Evelyn pursuing her.
  • Arra finishes Evelyn off with the black sword but it is too late for her escape from the Red Castle collapses leaving Nuo, Popella, Ooba and Sierra to survive the conflict.
Epiloghue
  • An undefined number of years later Popella is travelling by the coast discovering only the reconnection of Arra which is the remaining black crown.
  • We see Harpsichordauchire is still alive and appears to be the new Red King.
  • The humans are still at war with the Sehr.
  • Arroc rebuilt their kingdom starting fresh.
  • It is unknown what happened to Sierra after the wishing star lifted the planet (I presumed he became the new Arroc King leading his people to the new generation of peacekeepers and leaders of the sky).
  • It is unknown what happened to Nuo (I presumed he became an inventor of different kinds of flying mechanisms to travel the globe or maybe even studied the ones made with the help of the Fefniron to recreate them).
  • Ooba is working with the Naturalists to build their own nations and not rely on The Emperor while coming up with plans to overthrow his father.
  • The Emperor is still alive and growing now than ever.
  • Popella seems to be a traveller and a loner now.
Characters and sidestories overview
Arra:

My takeaway from Arra's belief is she wants everyone to take responsibility for themselves and not to rely on unknown mythic powers that can be used to enforce their wishes onto others (much like the wishing star did in this story).

While the planet she was living in was presumably dying slowly she did not interference to take control of the matter. In this case, she was right to fight against the Amber Throne as it was making the planet die out quicker and making it so only the few could have access to use its power to prioritise their dreams over others.

But what if the wishing star was doing good like it was supposed to for people, like curing illness, improving living standards, and making everyone work together equally without any penalty? Will she still be in the right to not rely on any supernatural miracle? Will the good outlast the bad even if it is temporary? Well, that's a question for another story.

Evelyn:

Evelyn is unfortunate because she was raised with a fixed set of prophecies of being the chosen 'angel' to save her people. These purposes are not really her own as it was predicated by Axis and her adopted father, the Red King and the citizen of the Red City throughout her whole life preventing her the freedom to learn other things outside of her bubble. In retrospect her motivation for making a utopia, giving everyone beautiful things and saving a dying world is charitable there's no doubt about that but in this case, these dreams and hopes she wants to give to everyone are only temporary and at the cost of the planet being destroyed. That leads to the first question that pops into my mind. Would you prefer to live happy but shortlived lives or would you want to live a potentially long time to endure many possible hardships and struggles to fight for your wants and needs? If you choose the first option then you agree with Evelyn but don't take it the wrong way, there's no right or wrong answer here. It is just something to think about. While we're here, here's another question. It is right to assert your wishes onto others without their consent or if yes how much can you do that?

At the end of the day, I feel bad for Evelyn for not finding a way to detach herself from her proclaimed prophecy as it was hurting the planet. Maybe on the inside, she couldn't see no other way as she wasn't taught it or she believes she will become nothing if she doesn't follow through with what her whole life led up to. I can see the situation going both ways with Arra being the antagonist if there is no consequence for following through with the Amber Throne.

[/b]Popelle:[/b]

Popelle is a case of not wanting to live an isolated life away from other people or in hindsight living off well while at the cost of having everyone else living miserable lives. The message I've taken away from this is to be aware of your surroundings. Are you happy? If so is it at the cost of others? If so is there any way you can make other people's lives better? Should you care for others? Well, that's up to you, just be honest with your feelings, but be aware of the consequences of not caring for other people's feelings. Can you live without them?

The Arroc:

The Arroc story seems to be one about not letting tradition hold you back and keeping up with progress. Sometimes it is good to stray away from old habits so you don't fall behind while the rest of the way do and take advantage of you.

Sehr:

The Sehr conflict is all over the place, I don't even want to talk about it. It wasn't a side plot I was invested in to be honest because it was hard to distinguish why the Sehr were still at war with people for so long making the whole situation mundy. But, maybe that's the point, maybe the Sehr is to show what war does to people making them find the wrong purpose and fight for the wrong cause or treating it as a hobby because they lost their ways a long time ago. If you can't figure out why people fight in the first then it is really wise to continue fighting without knowing the first prologue.
Messenge to you
To those who stuck around in the around and tried to ignore every possible grammar I've made thank you for reading and making it this far. If it wasn't obviously already, The Amber Throne holds a special part in my heart, I don't fully know why but loving something doesn't have to make sense so why explain why you love something rather than show how?

This has been a very fun and long journey to digest the recap of all of the story moments and try to process what it may mean. Hopefully, you came out with a better understanding than you started. I know this game is flawed with the translation and grammar errors for starters, but that is what made this fun for me.

This isn't the end though. Yes, this game is old but it doesn't mean we can continue talking about it and I'll still be happy to continue the discussion from time to time. Know I'm not the only one, so be sure to share your love for this game as well as any other games for that matter with your friends and family.
