Original mod notes (1.3):

This mod is large-scale and at the same time simple enough to master.

You can build satellites that have different roles, as well as space stations that can speed up satellite charging or participate in battles.

You can interact with all objects through the «Novax» center.
Some objects will give you energy. To get it, you need to build a «Hive» station.

The space object has basic parameters:
HP - Hit Points. If the parameter falls below 0, the object will be destroyed.
EU - A parameter that displays the current charging or action progress.

In addition, you can find events in the game, which you can also see in the «Novax» center.
Among them there are space merchants with whom you can interact, take quests, fight and trade.

You can command your objects to attack using an Orbital pointer from this mod. [BIG ORBITAL LASERS!]

Yeah, it would be interesting to attempt it. Having one station you build up and inhabit once you get the infrastructure (Rimnauts), and a bunch of automated lesser stations/satellites where your people can use to help deal with potential issues or to just get handy resources (Cosmos+). And of course Save Our Ship 2 so you can have a means to traverse all over the stars when you feel like it.

It should, space in this mod is abstracted and doesn't really react or interact with anything else. It's an interesting thought to try and somehow integrate them.

Hmm, does this work with Rimnauts 2? I know you are mostly just updating it to 1.5, but it is good to know regardless.

Yep, I'd forgotten about that. Added a link to the description.

For those who care the original author has also made a spiritual successor to the original mod.
