The game only allows one skin for character. To choose which skin:

Go to your ...killingfloor\system folder
(mine is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\KillingFloor\system)
and find where the upl's you downloaded went.

For example, You should find Sergeant Powers like this:
Sergeant_Powers.upl
Sergeant_Powers_Alpha.upl

In the current state, Sergeant_Powers.upl (the default) comes first alphabetically so whenever Sergeant Powers is selected, that is the skin it uses.

To have it default to another skin, just rename the files so your desired skin comes first alphabetically.

Example——to get Plasma skin:
Sergeant_Powers_1_Alpha.upl [the Alpha skin]
Sergeant_Powers_2_DEFAULT.upl [the default]



Serverperk Codes:
CustomCharacters=Alpha
CustomCharacters=Beta
CustomCharacters=Bravo
CustomCharacters=Omega
