The Amber Throne is a turn-based game where each character takes turns taking action from either attacking enemies, applying buff and debuff, guarding, etc. This game doesn't have a mana system so you can spam your skills as much as you want unless descriptions of those abilities suggest otherwise, for example, some skills can't be used again after a certain number of turns, furthermore, some skills don't take effect instantly so you may be inclined to use other skills or just your regular attacks that are quicker on the time wheel.

ATK - Physical damage
DEF - Reduce damage
AGI - Increase speed which can increase the number of turns taken within a time wheel
SPI - Skill damage
DEX - Increase critical damage chance and evasion chance
Melee Attack: - Deal percentages amount of ATK
Blunt/Slash/Piercing/Lightning/Fire//Range
Some enemies (including bosses) resist or are weak to certain elemental attacks.

• Sludge - Lower AGI (lower turns taken and turn speed)
  
• Magnetized - Lower AGI (lower turns taken and turn speed)
  
• Darkness - Blinded lower Accuracy (higher chance to miss)
  
• Veil - Really high evasion until stuck
  
• Trap/grasp - Can't take action for a certain number of turns or until the trap/ grasp is removed. Trap/ grasp is removed when they take damage from a debuff attack
  
• Magma blast - High fire damage (tell me if I'm wrong on this one, I'm trying to figure out what this means)
  
• Paralysis - Can't take action for up to 2 turns or until they take damage
  
• Trance - Attacking another teammate with a normal melee attack for up to 3 turns
  
• Symphony - ? I wasn't sure what this does maybe increasing vulnerability to certain elemental attack types? You will only encounter this in the second finals bossfight so it doesn't matter much.

At the far-left side of the Field on the map, past the cave and onto the waterfall, you will find a mini tower that will request the correct 5-letter passcode.

From there you will be rewarded with a helpful ability for Nuo named Hoam's Core giving all friendly parties a 20% increase in all their stats for 2 turns which saves you the time to spend SP on unless abilities like Uncanny Mechanismt and Unusual Gagdet.

You will earn the ability to fast-travel naturally as you progress through the story after defeating the first boss and then after interacting with Nuo, giving you the ability to fast-travel to different locations with an anchor.

I recommend fighting every enemy you encounter to make it easy to finish this mini-quest beforehand. Also, check the mountain where you will find a lot of Ohka you need to defeat.

Once you believe you have done that visit the same quest given again quest then you should be given an animation where the deer hunter gives a Horned Ohka Headress giving you the ability to ride on deers while traversing around the map making sprinting quicker.

If you feel like you're not gaining enough EXP, which is understandable as there are not a lot of enemies to fight, there are ways to gain them, like interacting with everything you can find within the location you are environment. Doing so can help your character gain some extra EXP if is related to the lore. You can also have your character consume things like bread, apples, and fish which increases a character' EXP by a certain percentage after combat.

However, there aren't many bread and apples to be found but there is a way to purchase fish after the fisher gives you a quest to defeat every enemy underwater located just as soon as you go to the right side of the Field after the carriage with the Sehr prisoners and going down to where you can see a hidden stone staircase.

I recommend doing this after the second bossfight when Arroc will get added to your party as fighting the enemies underwater is harder than usual enemies up to this point by slowing you down multiple times and dealing a load of damage. After you manage to defeat them you will have access to the shop where you can purchase fish to help increase your character EXP over time.
If you go to the far right Goldwood red building and defeat every enemy you can find there.

Replay bossfight by interacting with an electric staff located in the exile Arroc hideout in the far right of the Field in a building with a blue rooftop. But first, we must find the spear which can be located if you look any Mount Arkenaut (it shouldn't be hard to find) and return it to the exile Arroc hideout to activate it.
