* Introduction
This guide's information is intended to present both an in-depth understanding of loot and different takes on approaches to the game of loot extraction. Having said that, this guide does not define how to play the game, but provides perspective and different approaches. Along the way, it also highlights how certain tiers and types of loot can be worthwhile, but can carry too much risk if not approached strategically.

Guide based upon

* Large Items

    Loot Location:
  • Bunkers
  • Medical facilities
  • Storage facilities
  • Residential Districts
  • Industrial Installations
Insight:
Water represents one of the most essential commodities within forever winter and is used not only for basic consumption, but also utilized by factions as a barter for scavenging services.
If searching for water, you will often find it near medical containers or in the inside of facilities and in small bunkers.

Situational opportunity

    Loot Location:
  • Storage facilities
  • Trenches
  • Bunkers
  • Wrecks
  • Barracks
Insight:
Explosives are among the least valued large items, yet they are a readily available resource and can typically be scavenged in safety. When you search specific locations, you may find them in high numbers. Scavenger factions will frequently request explosives in trade for water.

Situational opportunity

    Loot Location:
  • Storage facilities
  • Trenches
  • Bunkers
  • Military Complexes
  • Hangers
Insight:
In the view of many scavangers, sealed boxes are often highly sought after as they are easy to take out and have a high guaranteed resale value. It is for this reason that scavangers will often take the risk of heading deeper into the war fields to extract these goods.

Situational opportunity
* Consumables
Food: Junkfood

    Overview
  • (F) Candy Bar
  • (F) Energy Bar
  • (F) Pretzels
  • (F) Potato Chips
  • (D) Cookies
    Loot Location:
  • Supplies
Insight:
Junk food items usually have the least value in CR and for purposes of trading I would avoid them.
However they can be utilized as an improvised source of healing while in the field or a healing supplement if you've got limited CR.
there is an exception to this directive and that would be cookies ( Aramaki likely the cause )

Food: Military

    Overview
  • (D) MRE Bag
  • (D) Food Tin
  • (D) Canteen
  • (B) ENuggets
    Loot Location:
  • Supplies
  • Crates medical
  • Crates Vechicals
  • Storage

Insight:
Militant food consists of loot that may be recovered from either casualties of ground troops or from the vicinity of destroyed tanks as well as medical bays.

In general, this category of loot can be considered of lower value, but when saved in larger quantities it may be sold for a reasonable profit.

Substance: Alcohol

    Overview
  • (D) Brandy
  • (D) Gin
  • (F) Scotch
  • (D) Whisky
  • (D) Wine
  • (X) Prized Alcohol
    Loot Location:
  • Supplies

Insight:
Alcohol tends to occupy an odd place in the loot hierarchy, as it can be regarded as filler loot but not ideal loot, because looting for alcohol leads to a considerable amount of grubbiness in your inventory. All the while, it is one of the most common loot that shows up

There is one big exception and that is prize alcohol, as not only do these have a high resale value, but you will also get a reward if you deliver them.

Medical

    Overview
  • (X) Small first aid
  • (X) Standard First aid
  • (X) Large First aid

    Loot Location:
  • Supplies
  • Crates medical
  • Crates vehicles
  • Storage

Insight:
Personally, I find that you can never go wrong when searching for medicines because you may need them more in a field mission or for future missions. Meanwhile, they can be sold for profit, but it may be better to build a large stockpile that you can use economically for yourself or for group raid.

If you wish to stockpile relief supplies, it is advisable to search through bunkers or the medical facilities, but in such cases it is best to include a scanner in order to dodge patrols.

Substance: Cigarettes

    Overview
  • (D) Cigs
  • (C) Cigs (Delux)
  • (C) Cigs (Import)
    Loot Location:
  • Supplies

Insight:
Cigarettes are an odd, but preferable kind of loot as they take up very little space in your equipment, and if you sell them in large quantities, they make a good profit. Unfortunately, it is not the easiest item to sell in large quantities, as it often takes a long time to sift through fallen ground troops. It's a decent item to grab when it shows up, but not good to search for specifically.

Update (1)
In the back segment of the base a NPC named Lordoss will trade credits and lore for Cigarettes,
With Each bargain the rewards will be larger as will the demand be for Cigarettes, He tend to enjoy all types of Cigarettes but always ask for a specific brand and it will be different from the previous request

* Trade Goods: Tools
Trade Goods

    Overview
  • (D) Tools Case
  • (C) High Tech Tools
  • (C) Advance Tools
  • (C) Mech Tools
  • (C) Cybernetic Tools
  • (C) Basic Tools
  • (C) Jumper Cable
  • (C) Glue Gun
    Loot Location:
  • Supplies
  • Cyborgs
  • Gunships
Insight:
Tools are one of the most common trade goods you can find in the war fields. They aren't the most precious goods for scavenging, but they're in great demand owing to their use in our everyday lives. Because of this, you cannot go wrong when you scavenge them, the only exception being toolboxes, which are worth the least, while tools for cybernetics and mechs are most valuable.

If you specifically are searching for tools, Feral Cyborgs are the best source.

  • (B) Internal Circuits
  • (B) Officer Laptop
  • (C) Smuggled Organs
