the consumables can stop the searching that monsters do when you are hiding under a open hiding spot like under a table or the cupboard with open door, when you are hiding the monster and you have a consumable you can throw it somewhere around the room the monsters search mod imedietly stops and gets out of the room, but for some reason its only working on brute and the flying telekinesis think, ı dont know why its not working on the sloppy monster but it works on brute and that flying monster, but ı happen to realize after you did this like 4 or 5 times they dont stop searching the room. now you can take the consumables and get rid of the monsters searching for hours.
