๐–‚๐–Š๐–‘๐–ˆ๐–”๐–’๐–Š:
In this guide I explain how to get all achievements, as well some tips that I used to get them all. I separated they all in several categories: basic - the easiest ones; tough - a little harder to get; challenging - getting them can be quite hard; advanced - requires some preparations to get; Near-impossible - these are really hard to get; Bosses - which I've to separate in 3 parts because Steam does not handle too many characters in a single topic and; Witches - which are all badges related to NPCs.

If you need to find an achievement fast, you can type "Ctrl+F". It works on Browser and in the Steam program.

Also, there'll be heavy spoilers about this game! I highly recommend attempting to discover how to get each achievement before looking here.
๐•ญ๐–†๐–˜๐–Ž๐–ˆ:
  • Campfire - Just interact with the first campfire you find, it will teleport you to Hythe, unlocking this achievement in the process.

  • Tutorial - Reach the Uduuh Desert for the first time to complete the tutorial. You can replay the tutorial by using a manual seed that starts with TUTO-____, although Manual Seeds disables achievements.

  • Happy Shopper - Just buy an item.

  • Enchant - Use a scroll of enchant and select a random item. You can get quite a lot in Hythe Monastery, or by crafting using any boss essence.

  • Doomed - If you die few times in Fading Embers mode, your character will get Doomed, thus unlocking this achievement. It's also possible to get Doomed by having 2 or more curses on your character.

  • Bottle Knight - The boss on the fourth or fifth floor is guaranted to drop a Square Bottle, use it to summon a Bottle Knight.
    Bottle Knight usually will retreat if it's HP gets too low, except in special cases, like stunned or petrified.

  • Digestion - Just give enough items to Brokbrog until you get something back. Blue weapons/armors/rings have a large chance to return an item instead of gold.

  • Crafting - Once you defeat a boss, it will drop some essences (except for few ones) which you can use to craft something on Hythe.

  • Fencer - Just parry multiples enemies, you can use hover your mouse into an enemy to see when it is about to attack you!

  • Uncurse - Ask Arabelle Stereos to uncurse an item. It may sound expensive at first, but it can be useful if you need to spare Scroll of Uncurse to just uncurse an specific item, like a wand.
๐•ฟ๐–”๐–š๐–Œ๐–:
  • Polymorph - Polymorph can be very dangerous in combat, you usually want to avoid being polymorphed by drinking a Spirit Phial. For this achievement, it's easier to just drink a potion of polymorph, which you can buy on Violet Pepper's Hut. Arabelle Stereos also can Polymorph, but attacking her will most likely end your run.

  • That's a deep phial - Use three Scrolls of Enchant on your Spirit Phial. I recommend doing this in every single run, you will need extra charges.

  • Powerful Knight! - Use three Scrolls of Enchant on your Square Bottle. I rarely use Bottle Knight, but leveling him increase it's health and speed.

  • Uncurse Character - There's two major ways to uncurse your character. The first and easiest way is to find a blessed scroll of uncurse and use it, the second and the fun way is to visit Neith and kill a Blight Eater.

  • Richness - Just avoid expending gold, you should get enough on the half of the game. Be careful that some early items may disappear from the shop if you don't buy it.
    (Although I believe you'll get it eventually, no need to keep sparing gold just for that achievement).
๐•ฎ๐–๐–†๐–‘๐–‘๐–Š๐–“๐–Œ๐–Ž๐–“๐–Œ:
  • Master Fencer - Another hard achievement to get. I believe you'll eventually unlock this, if not you can use place like

  • Cheat Death - This one is more based on lucky. The easiest way is to find a amulet of life saving, with revives you if you die. Some enemies may have it, but it will activate once you defeat them. The best way to get it is to find in a chest or crafting using Calven's essence.
    There's also a potion of Rebirth, but the effect is temporary.

  • Depths of Abysm - So you came back from the pit, did you? Figured it would chew you up like all the others. Guess you're tougher than you look.
    Can't say I'm surprised to see you looking a bit worn. The deeper you go, the more it takes out of you. Just keep whatever you dragged up from there away from my forge. I've got enough shadows here as it is.
    -- Thayer Strain about the Depths

    The easiest way to reach the depths is to use a "scroll of teleport + ring of teleport control" to pass through the rocks blocking the path in "Abysm 2" (although I found a abyss worm on "Abysm 5", if you do, run). You can also try to find an "Eerie Tunnel" too, it's way hard, but offer a great shortcut to the depths.

  • 10 pyres - You should unlock this achievement if you keep following the main route on the very end, but there's also campfires in "extra zones", like the Mage's Chamber and Ivoryreach, which may help you to unlock that faster.

  • Neith - [...]After the Sundering, I tried to return to Neith, just for a moment. What I saw I'll never forget it. The quiet was gone, replaced by chaos. Lost souls drifted aimlessly, trapped in an endless limbo. -- Arabelle Steros about Neith
    To visit Neith you can either use a scroll of travel, equip 10 or more cursed items (which will also grants the achievement below this one), or fight against Olivar, in Mage's Chambers, or Rianne, in Prison Cells 2.
    If a Scroll of Travel teleport you to Neith. What will happen if you use it on Neith? Whatever the outcome, it definely won't be good.

  • Pyre gating - If you have ten or more cursed items, the campfire will turn red, allowing you to travel to Neith, and thus unlocking this achievement.

  • Consumed by Shadows - Die in Neith.

  • Find Ivoryreach- Ivoryreach is a place located right next to Hythe, located where there should be a single red knight (but sometimes others enemies will spawn nearby that can end your run), that I usually kill him because he drops a good weapon and sometimes a empowered ring. It's a late-game zone (post Tower of Mirth), full of enemies that deals Ice damage.

  • Iphe's essence - You can get it by defeating a really strong enemy at the very bottom of the depths ("abysm"). However, it's also possible to get it by reseting a floor that contains a Blood Soaked Scoria, like Tower of Mirth 3.
    You can use it to craft rare scrolls or artifacts. Including a Scroll of Amnesia (on Violet Pepper's hut) to reset your Soul Shards.
    You can craft scroll of amnesia (on The Hollow Grove), or give it to her. After giving some amount, you'll get a witchglass as a reward, and the Marsh will expand to other regions.

  • Revert Time - "The Blood Soaked Scoria lacks powerโ€ฆ"
    You can use scroll of power on Blood Soaked Scoria to empower them. A single scroll can empower multiples stones at the same time, as long as they're stacked.
    Once you manage to start a "new game plus", don't forget that every floor will get distorted, thus every enemy is stronger. Also, a new seed will be used, and it's not based on your current seed (so, in other words, if 2 players reset the game in the same seed, both games would be different from each other).
    Be careful: each time you use a Blood Soaked Scoria, the enemies gets more and more distorted. This might bring unintended consequences to your run.
๐•ฌ๐–‰๐–›๐–†๐–“๐–ˆ๐–Š๐–‰:
  • The Sisterhood - Finding Sisterhood isn't hard, you just have to use Scroll of Travel on Neith, the real problem is leaving Sisterhood.
    It's also an end-game zone, and I recommend having some ranged dmg and a way to hit multiples enemies in close range.

  • Distortion - Beat the game in "new game plus" (after using a Empowered Blood Soaked Scoria). I recommend attempting the Barrier Restoration Ending, as it does not requires any boss and can be done quickly if you've all the requirements.

  • Deep Trading - There's a NPC in Depths 6, you can trade your max HP in order to get some random boss essences. I recommend trading few times, but remember that HP is kinda important to stay alive.
    (Also, he's not immune to petrify, so if a Child of Iphe on that room transforms into a Basilisk, it can kill him).

  • Mouth of Iphe - I've seen plenty of fools in my time, but diving that deep into the Abysm? Well, that's a new one. Can't say it's done any favors, either.
    You come back from there looking like that, and I've to wonder if you're even know what you're after. Some things just take more than they'll ever give back
    Bravery and recklessness aren't the same, but you seen to blur that line just fine. Head down there one more time, and don't be surprised if you're forgotten. You look like you've already left half of yourself behind
    -- Thayer Strain after reaching Iphe
    After Depths 7, you will reach this floor. The walls are alive this time, good luck!
    For now on, enemies will keep spawning, similar to Neith, so don't try to explore the entire floor. Auto-explore does not work neither, as the walls count as enemies, and it also keeps moving and growing.
    Also, the last floor apply random effects on you all the time. I hope you've healing potions or scroll of charging.

  • Bottle Knights - This achievement is not hard, you just need to find 4 Blood Soaked Scoria, and reset the floor where you found the Square Bottle. Just be careful that enemies do get stronger when you use this stone.

  • 5 curses - Maybe the hardest achievement in this topic. I recommend trying on Fading Embers (semi-permadeath) mode so you can stack curses faster - which you'll need if you wanna get all 5 in time.
    In order to get a curse, you need to use cursed items for enough time. Once you get your second curse, you'll be "Doomed" - which curses random items from your inventory. "Doomed" does not count as a curse, and cannot be removed neither.
    Avoid visiting Neith, because you'll find a lot of blight eaters, with removes a curse from you if you kill them. There might be Blight Eaters in the exit of Annora Rise too.
    Sometimes some curses may be deathly too, on my first attempt I got one that reduces my elemental defense, and another that deals elemental dmg. Luckly I'd an amulet of life saving, but I went to Neith to remove all my curses otherwise I would die.
๐•น๐–Š๐–†๐–—-๐•ด๐–’๐–•๐–”๐–˜๐–˜๐–Ž๐–‡๐–‘๐–Š:
  • https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/2398822869389922171/B3631B743F5BC98531915503014704324DC14AA6/?imw=256&&ima=fit&impolicy=Letterbox&imcolor=%23000000&letterbox=false Simple Run - This one is simple: just complete the game without expending any points. That's means you'll always have base health and stamina, and anything can insta-kill you during the late-game. I recommend a Carnomancy and/or Witchcraft build: Carnomancy allows you to summon flesh, with can keep enemies busy, and Witchcraft can deal good AoE dmg and gives extra shield.
    Also, be careful with Mirror Shield, I died in the last part (Royal Dungeons 2) because I hit an enemy using it when I was blind. It was a sad day.

  • Distorted Calven - The hardest achievement in this game in my opinion. Not you you need 4 Blood Soaked Scoria, but each time you use this stone the enemies get on the floor get more and more "distorted", increasing their HP and DMG, plus, the reason because it's Calven and not other boss is because there's a ever growing wave of enemies during that fight, and all of them will look like a mini-boss due to the large ammount of health and damage they have.
    Make sure you've Scroll of Safekeeping to avoid losing items during the fight, Scroll of Antimagic/Potion of Invulnerability to avoid taking damage, potion of polymorph to reduce the damage taken while increasing the damage that the boss recieve (I recommend at least 3), Scroll of Jump to escape after the fight is over, and a really, really good build that can grants your survival against powerful blows.
    Remember that the enemies summoned on this fight will explode if their HP drops to zero, with should take a while due to high distortion, so you can preview when you should use Scroll of Antimagic/Potion of Invulnerability or not.
๐•ญ๐–”๐–˜๐–˜๐–Š๐–˜ ๐–•๐–†๐–—๐–™ ๐“˜:
  • Ivar - "There's one of my kind near here, but he seems to have only mushrooms in his head now. More literally than one might think" -- Brokbrog
    The first boss you will find, it's here you'll learn when to dodge or attack, that if an enemy kills another enemy you get no XP and, if you're unluckly, learn that acid always explodes.

  • Cigysol - A boss that you might find in Bog 2, it's not hard. Just keep dodging and parrying, and run away if you're low health.

  • Mycelium - Another boss that you might find in Bog 2, again it's not hard, just don't focus only in the boss.

  • Wretched Brute - A really tank boss that can become immune do damage every 100 ticks. He can always be found in Twisted Caverns, so be careful when exploring this place.

  • Dismal Lowlife - A really hard boss (if you try to fight melee) that splits acids every time when it gets hits. Remember that acid always explodes.

  • Two Armed Sherm - A mini-boss that can be found in the third or fourth floor on the game, basically a strong version of another enemy.

  • Rainbow Hound - A bad Nyan Cat that can be found randomly in the third floor (Bog 1/Hen 1/Twisted Chambers 1 etc) of the game. It can confuse everyone around him, so if you see some confused enemies it's probably Rainbow Hound. Use your spirit phial to clean the effect and do few extras hits!

  • Loren Mad Eye - A mini-boss that can be found randomly in the third floor of the game. To be fair he's just an archer enemy, just a little more stronger.

  • Mika, the Lonely Mage - A mini-boss that can be found randomly in the third floor of the game. Just like Loren Mad Eye, she is just a stronger version of the fire mage.

  • Desmund, the Pedleg - A mini-boss that can be found randomly in the third floor of the game. Again, a stronger version of the bandits found in the Hungry Caverns 1/3. Unlike the normal ones, he carries a giant club, just like Ivar, the second boss from the Hungry Caverns 2.

  • Boneheaded Beldwin - A mini-boss that can be found randomly in the third floor of the game. He'll try to run and hit you with the head, then run away and repeat. He's quite dangerous, but he doesn't have much health, so try to attack him before he attacks you (maybe find a good spot on the map there he must get close to you in order to attack)?

  • The Croaker - A mini-boss that can be found randomly in the third floor of the game. When you defeat it, ~5 frogs will spawn around him. You should find a good spot during the fight.

  • Chonties - A mini-boss that can be found randomly in the third floor of the game. It's not that stronger neither, but it can generate a lot of webs, which can be dangerous near other enemies.

  • Caden - A mage that can deal good AoE Fire dmg. His attacks always follow a sequence. If there's any move that breaks it, it's probably it's melee attack, so you can parry. You can find him on the 4th floor.

  • Giselle - Basically a copy of Caden. You can find him on Twisted Chambers 2, 4th floor.

  • Fiona - A warrior found in the Den, 4th floor. You can parry her attack easily, and if you need health you can try to run and hide.

  • Helen - A variation of Fiona that you can find in the Den 2, 4th floor. Unlike Fiona, she carries a tower shield, which can reduce your damage by a lot. You can use potion of confusion, shield bash or any weapon that stuns to break her defense.

  • Nixie - A boss from the "blue abysm", he deals large AoE ice damage, and he's weak against fire. You'll know when it's near when you listen "a wind blowing sound".
    It's attacks always form a patterns, except the melee one, so it's possible to know when to parry/dodge and when to attack, and you can use the Ice created during the fight to dodge it's attacks.
    Although it's guaranted to find him in the "blue abysm", it's also possible to find him in other places too, including Tower of Mirth 2, which I find ironically.

  • Elder Bugmoon Queen - A boss that's exclusive from Abysm 2 and has a chance to appear. It'll always be in the exit, and there'll be a huge ammount of eggs in the entire floor. Once you attack it, it'll start doing some waves attacks (that I don't know what they do, but I guess they reduce health and stamina) and summoning eggs.

    In this floor there'll a lot of bugmoons - which can attack fast and reduce your max health and stamina, and if one of them reaches zero you die. So I usually don't go melee on this boss, instead I summon allies and throw weapons. The boss is really big so it can't leave the room where it lies, allowing you to attack from a safe distance.

  • Hiedra, the Smith - The coolest and the hardest boss in the abysm, and he has a chance to appear. When you'll notice a lot of pyre traps and Candle Armorers, he'll be in the floor. There's a room with a trap that the auto-explore won't go further. Activating it starts the fight. You must defeat all enemies in the trap room in order to proceed, he'll be the last enemie you find, right near the exit.
    He itself isn't hard, but the arena can be quite tough. You must time very well when you attack or when you dodge, and be careful that the fire traps will go faster and faster when Hiedra's HP lower. I recommend using a Scroll of Safekeeping if you have one.
    Defeating him disables the traps.

  • Crazed Monk - "There is a monk, driven mad by grief, east from here. Someone should end his suffering, I should think." -- Arabelle Steros
    He's the boss in the Monastery Catabounds 2 (Hythe Monastery). Although he's not required to defeat, he can teleport, destroy walls and summon enemies, so it's kinda hard to avoid him.
    Plus, you can craft good items with it's essence, like the Ring of Teleport control, and scroll of power. He also don't have much health luckly.
๐•ญ๐–”๐–˜๐–˜๐–Š๐–˜ ๐–•๐–†๐–—๐–™ ๐“˜๐“˜:
  • Aerith, the Green - He's a random boss that can be anywhere. He's not that hard, being able to summon mushrooms to help during the fight. You can craft a 2-hand staff using it's essences.

  • Singing Knight - A Knight that carries a enchanted shield of Thorns. He can be anywhere in the map, I once found him near Ivoryreach, and even in Royal Dungeons.
    There's a bunch of lore about him: (ring of endurance), it seems he was using magic to cheat during tournaments, once people discovered, a group of knights attacked him at night and forced him to hit the mirror shield until he lost consciousness, abandoning him alone in the forest to bleed out to death (mirror shield)

  • Eda, Treasure Guardian - I found it a long time ago in the Castle Istimid, but I don't remember what it does.

  • Themis, the Vagrant - The strongest mini-boss in this game, he can teleport and summon a lot of shadows, plus has a lot of health. When defeat he drops an "artifact/yellow item" (Moonsword).
    I think he can be anywhere on the map, but he's really rare to find. I only found him twice: on my first encounter I found him in Twisted Caverns, and on my second one he was in the Uduuh desert.

  • Istimid Gargonles - It's 4 bosses found in Castle Istimid 3. They'll become slowly become active during the fight and there's some dangerous enemies in the room. You can to use scroll of jump to stay away from them.
    They'll also split acid sometimes, so try to not get stuck in a single place.
    Summons can help a lot in this fight (but always make sure that there's no abyss enemies nearby).

  • Sagiv Ohsriya, the Royal Warden - The last boss from the Castle Istimid 5. He can knockback you, making it harder for you to hit if you're melee. Luckly there's a bunch of robots that are inactive. You can try to use them to distract and damage the boss.

  • Senka Suncrest - The first boss you will encounter in Poison Vault 2. The first half of the fight is trivial, but the second one can be quite hard.
    The first phase is just him and 3 enemies that can pull you away from him into the poison. Make sure to defeat they all first.
    The second phase happens when it's HP drops below 50%. It's transforns, increasing it's size and starts running away from the player, while summoning tons of enemies in the arena. It's an endurance battle, he'll try to stay alive from while dealing small ammount of dmg to you until you die. Keep chasing him and kill the enemies near you.

  • Ngotraimuucs - The second boss you will find in Poison Vault 3. He can attack up to 6x3 tiles, and the arena starts becoming flood with poison over time. As such, I high recommend buying some potion of healing/extra healing to survive longer.
    The staff that he's uses is random, and as such he can deal a HUGE amount of dmg. If possible try to stay away from him.
    You can craft a Blight Rune with his essences, with grants 4d7 extra poison dmg. Don't forget to use a Scroll of Power before using the rune, you can craft one by using Uro essences.

  • Grand Executioner - The first boss from Tower of Mirth, he fights together with Arnet. He can attack from a long distance (6 tiles) and inflict bleeding, with deals damage over time. Try to parry it's attack when possible.
    You can do a bleeding build with his drops.

  • Arnet - The first boss from the Tower of Mirth, he fights together with the Grand Executioner. He isn't that strong, but he has a chestplate of repulsion, that knockback you every hit.
    Killing him drops the key to the next floor.

  • Calven Duning, the Royal Warden - The last boss from the Tower of Mirth. During the fight, a lot of enraged enemies will appear, and if they gets close to you they'll explode and deals fire dmg. Not only that, but there's 2 fire mages if LARGE AoE fire attacks. Plus, he can attack up to 6 tiles, and it's sword can reduce your fire resistance.
    I highly recommend using a Scroll of Safekeeping otherwise many potions and scrolls that you have will be destroyed. Scroll of Antimagic can help to avoid most damage from the enemies and, if you are using a Waxmancy Build, potion of polymorph can reduce it's fire resistance.
    You can craft powerful items with his essences. Don't forget to go back to Hythe when the fight is over!

  • Commander Idwal of the Order of the Candle - The boss from Fortress of the Castle. He isn't that strong and you need to defeat him before leaving that place. He'll retreat after being hit and then proceed to attack you. You can use summons to deal with him easily.
    If you've Supernova skill (or wand). You can use it to "cheese" the boss: he'll keep retreating and advancing, taking huge amount of damage from that spell.

  • Boreas - Although it's in the main route, it can be kinda hard to find. You've to find a locked door in Fortress of the Castle, and open with the key you just got in Tower of Mirth 4 from Cadell.
    He can be quite annoying, always teleporting, applying poison and sick status, and he has quite a lot of HP. Don't forget to bring some potions to clear these effects.
    If you can summon it can make the fight a little more easier.
    Don't use all your potions on this fight however, you'll need sooner than you think!

  • Liver - [...]It was quiet. Too quiet. Even the wind stayed away. Liver was there, like the others, hollow and still. It wasn't him anymore -- Brokbrog about Sundering
    A powerful boss found in Annora Rise, in the middle of the first part of the arena. Almost every attack can stun, and he moves really fast, so be careful.

  • Flesh Colossus - After you defeat Liver, you can unlock a door to the Flesh Colossus. He's kinda easy actually. If you've a Carnomancy or Waxmancy build you can just attack him before openning the door to the arena. Just be careful that every attack summons flesh golems and there's a lot of shadows in the arena.
    Also, you don't have to defeat him, the exit is already unlocked.

  • Arthar Duning, the Royal Warden - The "final" boss in the Royal Dungeons, and the only enemy that can deal light damage (without needing any artefacts). Use the pillars from the arena to protect from that attack!
๐•บ๐–•๐–™๐–Ž๐–”๐–“๐–†๐–‘ ๐•ญ๐–”๐–˜๐–˜๐–Š๐–˜:
  • Olivar Stereos - [...]Olivar my brother. He left for the Mage Chambers when I was too young to understand why. All I knew that he had a gift for magic, and the Order needed him more than we did.[...] -- Arabelle Steros about Mages' Chambers
    A preview of Archmage fight basically, a Waxmancer with really high HP, that can teleport. He'll try to escape to Neith once he reaches 50% of his Max HP, and defeating him will teleport you back immedially, not allowing you to get the drops. I wonder if there's a way to prevent him from escaping...

  • Archmage - [...]The Archmage, Orran Thalric, presided over the Mage Chambers in those days. He hand-picked those like Olivar to shape the Order's power. I wonder if Orran ever cared for them, or if they were just pieces in his endless experiments
    His laboratory, a place of countless experiments and endless secrets. It wasn't like the others. They say it moved wherever Orran needed it, as restless as the man himself.
    -- Arabelle Steros about Mages' Chambers

    He is really, really hard to defeat. Every melee attack petrifies, she can teleport around the map, summon enemies (including from the abysm), and knockback you with a wave of flames. Once his HP reaches below ~50%, she will escape to Neith.
    Defeating him grants a good amulet, really important for an ending, and a Blood Soaked Scoria.

  • Iorweth - He lies in Sisterhood 3, and you must defeat him in order to escape from that place. There'll be 1 Royal Bender that will protect him, together with "Ice Knights", and he can also stun, jump and apply bleeding! I recommend using helmet of chutzpah - that gives stun immunity.
    Don't be afraid to use all that scrolls you found in the other 2 floors, and to light the candles once the fight is over..

  • Elara Prothero - East of here, there's a girl.. lost in a melody she can't escape. Someone should end her suffering, I should think. -- Arabelle Steros
    She lies at the top of Ivoryreach, once you approach her, he will release a wave that will knock you back and transforms every single statue in the room in normal enemies, that once defeated will become statues once again.
    She will do that attack every time her HP drops by ~20-25%. The statues in the room are random too, which can make the fight easier or harder depending of your lucky.
    Not only that, but there's a bunch of snowflakes that spawn during the fight, which can freeze and shatters potions from your inventory if you forget to use a scroll of safekeeping. Elara also has a lot of health, and there might be enemies that will protect her (laka Ivory Protector).

    Scrolls of Jump can be helpful in order to escape from tough situations. You can go to the one side of the room, lure all enemies, and then jump back to the other side, keeping them away.

  • Dry the lake - Once you defeat Elara, you will get a key to unlock a door on the first floor of Ivoryreach. Follow the path, and in the end there will be the boss - Iphe's Dream.
    It's does not have much health, being able to create an "abysm enviroment", summoning walls and tons of abyss enemies, while also being able to pass through the walls. I highly recommend having a way to perform ranged attacks that deals good AoE Dmg, like Waxmancy. On my first time, I defeated him using Carnomancy.
    However, you can easily cheat using the amulet of banishment.
    Don't forget to k the drops if it's appears in a inacessable place
    I recommend defeating him if you want to get the abysm ending, it can help a lot.

  • Primordial Child - A powerful enemy that you can always found on Depths 6 (and beyond*). There's 3 types of Primordial Child of Iphe and, although they all share the same names, I'll call them:
    • "Summoner" Primordial Child of Iphe: It's the one from the badge. It basically summons a lot of enemy, which can be tricky to reach him, but it's very slow. It can also attack and has an 'X' form. I recommend having some AoE/Ranged damage to clear enemies that are near it, like the Waxmancy Meteors or weapons that apply lighting damage.
    • "Moult" Primordial Child of Iphe: A dangerous version of Moult of Iphe: it can transform any equipment on tentacles (with will spawn near you) every time it hits you or it gets hit by any source of damage (so if you use a magic skill, or throw a weapon on him, one random item that you've equipped will transform into tentacles). Luckly, it also has very low health, so large amount of damage or summons works can work with some drawbacks. Polymorph also works great against it (and any other boss).
    • "Warrior" Primordial Child of Iphe: If you ask me, the most dangerous of the 3: it has high health, and apply any negatives effects to random creatures near him (so, if you wear creatures dying, there's probably one around, and you can also find it by looking for blood on the ground). Don't forget that Arabelle sells a lot of health potions that can cure these effects, but even still you must be careful - as it can deal large amount of bleeding damage, poison, halves your HP, polymorph, or petrify all of a sudden. Having a way to restore health during the fight is also great, but even better would be to Polymorph it, and it'll be unable to apply any other effect except for "poison" and "sick".
    Please note that all of 3 variations has 3x3 size, can move enemies that might be blocking the way, and apply random effects on hit (which, again, includes polymorph and petrify). None is immune to polymorph either: if you transform an enemy into a frog, it'll only be able to apply "poison" and "sick" effects on hit, in other words, you can ignore all this text, temporary.
    You can get 2 Iphe Essences if you defeat it, with you can use it to get Witchglasses or craft Scroll of Amnesia (with allows to reset the soul shards you spent) on Violet Pepper's hut.

    *There's always one on Depths 6 and 7; One on Mouth of Iphe 1 and 2;Two on Iphe 1 and 2; Four(?) on Heart of Iphe
    You can click on the names to see the stats of every type of primordial child of iphe
๐–‚๐–Ž๐–™๐–ˆ๐–๐–Š๐–˜:
  • Serenity - Violet's Pet! It can deal quite a lot of dmg, so I recommend fighting him only on late/end-game.
    Maybe there's a way to pass through the cave without fighting Senerity.

  • Violet Pepper- A witch with a giant pet. She has some Witchcraft spells, so she can polymorph you, and she can teleport around the map, but she does not have much HP.
    She only attacks you if you hurt her pet.
    Once you manage to reach her, don't forget to Chat, otherwise Serenity will attack you.

  • Arabelle Steros - The first witch we met. She has witchcraft skills and a lot of health. Once you attack her everyone in the Hythe will fight against you... except the smith. Fighting seems to annoy him even more, which I didn't knew it was even possible (or it's just a bug).

  • Martell Morrice - A warrior that protects Laoise, he can perform melee attacks and grab you, so stay away from him.

  • Laoise Garbrand - A witch that hates witches, she protect some refugees that manage to survive the Sundering. She only uses ranged attacks and keeps running away from you, but remember that Martell Morrice will try to grab you and perform melee attacks.
    It's possible to talk to her peacefully if you don't drink any potion that contains witch blood,[BETA] or if you don't buy or craft anything with Arabelle

  • Rianne Langeton - The strongest witch in this game. She can create multiples fake copies of herself, petrify, throw a lot of potions/elemental attacks, and weak the barrier of Neith and the overworld during the fight (summon ghosts and teleport to Neith). I recommend fighting her with the Amulet of Banishment equipped. She has 2 phases, unlike most bosses.

  • Cadell - "If I am free to go, I shall seek Rianne, we have been apart long enough."
    He will help Rianne during her fight, especially on her second phase (although on my first time fighting Rianne he appeared on Prison Cells 1). I recommend focusing him first because he has lower health and can deal quite a lot of damage. He also has a shield, so throw a Potion of Confusing or Stun.
๐•ฐ๐–“๐–‰๐–Ž๐–“๐–Œ๐–˜:
  • End (Fading Embers) - Complete the game on Fading Embers or Ashes of Fate mode.

  • End (Ashes of Fate) - Complete the game on Ashes of Fate mode, this will grant you the achievement for completing in Fading Embers as well.

  • A gift of phial - The "normal ending" of this game, if you follow the main route. Once you reach Aileni, go to Royal Dungeons, defeat Arthar Duning and Give your Spirit Phial to Rianne.

  • Cure - You can find Laoise in the obisidian mines, next to the capital. The problem is that the path is full of Living Obsidians, which does not take fire, eletro, or ice damage, and it's very resistance to physical dmg, I recommend doing the Royal Dungeons to get the Dawnbreaker if you don't have Light or Dark damage source, so you can defeat the Living Obisidians easier, or craft the Gargoyle Sword that deals acid damage.
    Also, don't drink anything that contains Witch Blood, otherwise she will attack you. [BETA] If you're playing on v0.99.1 or above, you also can't use any "witches service", such as buying or crafting items with Arabelle.

  • Four Witches - The web stretches wide, it strands tangled and straining. Pull too hard, and the center will collapse
    One writes her questions in ink that seeps into the soil. She looks to words of truth, though the Marsh holds what she seeks.
    Another once stoof tall, her words a fire that drew others close. Now, iron holds her still, her voice a distant ember
    A third moves in silence, her edges sharp as reeds. She shelters the broken but spares no trust for those who bear another's mark
    The soil does not spin the web, but it anchors the strands. Even those that reach deep into its roots.
    -- Violet Pepper about the Web
    For this ending you've to kill all 4 witches:
    • Laoise Garbrand - Hiding Place/Obsidian Mine;
    • Rianne Langeton - Prison Cells/Royal Dungeons;
    • Arabelle Steros - Hythe;
    • Violet Pepper - The Hollow Grove/Path to nowhere.
    Be warned however, once a witch is killed, a wave of shadows will appear on the region, I highly recommend killing the Archmage first in order to get Amulet of Banishment, which kills all the shadows instantly.

  • Iphe's Heart - Go into the depths of this world and destroy it's heart.
    This ending is really hard do to, I recommend having AoE dmg, a fully leveled up Spirit Phial, really good damage and a way to resist some attacks.
    The first time I got this ending wasn't that hard. When I reached Iphe's Heart - which is the name of the floor and the boss - it was already blocking my entrance, right in the center of it, and I couldn't move because there's was too many walls and enemies, so I just assumed you couldn't go back.
    But in fact, I just got very lucky. Iphe's Heart is a giant, ever-changing maze found after Iphe 2. There's some Blood Soaked Scoria around the map, and the boss lies somewhere. Random effects can trigger anytime, so make sure you've a lot of Potion of Extra Healing and Scroll of Charging.
    If possible, I recommend a lighting build for this ending, either a lighting weapon, ring, or artefacts like Stormbringer or Stormshield. Also, be extra careful with polymorph or petrify, as those can end your run instantly.

  • Barrier Restoration - I believe you can use every information here to discover how to do it, and I highly encourage to try before looking the answer here.
    But, if you wanna know how to get it:
    All you need to do is get 5 Blood Soaked Scoria, you can get it in:
    • Tower of Mirth 3;
    • Defeating Archmage on Travelling Laboratory;
    • Ivoryreach, after defeating Elara;
    • Hiding Place and;
    • Desolate Lighthouse, at the very beginning.
    You can also find rarely in chests or at the very depths of the abyss - although the last floor is too dangerous and I do recommend reseting the world to get some more that you might have missed instead.
    Once you get all 5, you need to use a scroll of power on them. Make sure they're all stacked, otherwise you might have to use more than one scroll (which are rare). You can get by crafting with Uro or Olivar Essences, and I think Violet Pepper can craft scroll of power too.
    Them, just go to Hythe Monastery, put all 5 in the "torches" down below, and pull the lever.
๐•น๐–Š๐–œ ๐•ฌ๐–ˆ๐–๐–Ž๐–Š๐–›๐–Š๐–’๐–Š๐–“๐–™๐–˜:
I still haven't got every "new" achievements, so I'll keep it in this category for now.

  • Item Refinement - When exploring the Uduuh Desert, you will find a "new" NPC called Aveline. She can upgrade any equipment using witchglass - a rare item that you can find around the map. You can always get one in a chest right here Aveline is, at the desert..
    Aveline may disappear in the desert after some time, and reappear on Hythe.

  • Item Perfection - It can be a bit complicated, as it requires 3 witchglasses, which are quite rare. Fortunately, you can get enough witchglasses helping Violet Pepper by giving Iphe essences.

  • Fast Win - A challenging achievement. I believe the Phial ending is the easiest way, and avoid using auto explore, since you don't have to kill everything.

  • Blazing Win - A really hard achievement in my opinion.
    I manage to get this achievement, however, I got really lucky and got an artefact (Traitor Greaves) that halves the time I take to walk right on the beginning.
    As such, I'm not sure if you can get it without using any major skips, but here's some tips:
    • I recommend attempting the Phial Ending, unless you manage to find 2 blood soaked scoria in the same room, and manage to duplicate at least 5, and find a scroll of power.
    • Don't forget that you can see how much "time" (ticks) has passed during the run - Pause Menu > Settings > Show timer;
    • Scrolls of mapping can be quite useful, specially in large areas such as prison cells and fortress of the castle.
    • You don't have to explore all maps:
      • You can skip abysm 2 and "abysm 1/fissure" by jumping the fence in Hythe Monastery (either by using a scroll of jump or using the sword short - as it has a move that allows to jump over a enemy, and the birds can fly over the fence);
      • The exit in Poison Vault 1 will always be on the top left of the map, and the Poison Vault 4 exit will always be on the top right of the map. It's possible, although unlikely, that the path to the exit for Poison Vault 1 might be blocked by rocks and you'll have to walk around the map to continue (or use a scroll of teleport);
      • Tower of Mirth 2 only requires the key to the next floor;
      • The boss on the Fortress of the Castle is always at north, and you can use a Scroll of mapping to find the exit.
    • Some locked doors can be skipped by using scroll of teleport (although I didn't get any Scroll of teleport during that run);
    • Avoid going back to Hythe too many times, as every action takes time.
    • Minions (Flesh Golems, Wax Golems, Hemovespers) can be really helpful to clean blind areas, but usually they're too weak and takes too much time to defeat anything;
    • Try to focus mainly on damage builds, like Waxmancy spells (with Acid Wand), just don't forget that you also need to be alive in order to beat the game;
    • Acid Wand and fire potions can melt bosses (and anything else, including Obisidian Golems);
    • Boots of Speed (or Traitor's Greaves) can reduce the time you take to move, giving extra turns to rush to the ending. Increasing attack speed can also be helpful.
    And some great skips that are possible in theory but too much dangerous in pratice, and I don't think it's required for the achievement (nor I tested to verify if it's viable), although it might help somehow:
    • You can use a scroll of teleport (and ring of teleport control) to teleport from Hythe Monastery to Fortress of the Castle, since it's very close. Although this skip is possible, the enemies from the Fortress of the Castle can be quite challenging!
    • Just like the previous skip, you can dive deeper to the abysm and search for Eerie Tunnels instead. But it can be really challenging, as Eeries Tunnels are very dangerous, specially if there's an abyss worm (which you can also find in Abysm 4 and 5)!
  • Endless Rains - One achievement related to the new ending. If you give enough Iphe Essences to Violet Pepper, (11 Iphe essences) the world will starts to rain.
    Even if you don't need that much, you need to defeat one Primordial Children of Iphe, which are very dangerous enemies that spawns on depths 6 and beyond (and I do recommend defeating at least 5 if you're attempting that ending).
    I must mention that you can also convert 2 blood soaked scoria to Iphe essences, but I highly do not recommend it, since it can be very useful to the ending.

  • Marsh consumes the world - In my opinion, it's the hardest ending of the game, you've to give 59+ Iphe essences to Violet Pepper to trigger that, luckily, after some amount, few bosses (mid-late game, usually from Tower of Mirth and Beyond) will start dropping Iphe Essences.
    In short:
    • After giving 3 Iphe Essences, some bosses will start dropping 2 Iphe Essences;
    • After giving 11 Iphe Essences, some bosses will drop 4 Iphe Essences, and the world will start to rain. Not only that, but the Marsh will expand, and plants will grow up everywhere, which can block some passages;
    • After giving 27 Iphe Essences, some bosses will drop 8 Iphe Essences, and part of the map will be missing (Fortress of the Castle, Path to Annora, Castle Gisea/the capital), which can block the passage to certain bosses, even if you already unlocked the pyre to that location.
    • After giving 59 Iphe Essences, you should trigger ???.
    [discord.com]
    In order to get that amount:
    1. I went to the Tower of Mirth normally, although you'll need a ring of teleport control, which you can craft using Uro essences;
    2. Then I went to the depths, I believe the quickest way possible would be by completing Ivoryreach, but there's a dangerous boss at the end. You can also use a scroll of teleport control and go to Abysm 3 (although you might find abyss worms, which can insta-kill you easily and are immune to polymorph, you can know if one is coming by looking in the game log), or even find a Eerie Tunnel, which is full of dangerous enemies. You've to defeat around 5 Primordial Child of Iphe (PCoI).
    3. Once you get 11 Iphe Essences, you can bring to Violet Pepper, and continue your journey, by going to Mage Chambers and the capital, and don't forget to bring scroll of teleport. If you gave 3, it's still possible, but you'll have to go back eventually.
    4. If you bring 3 Iphe Essences, you'll have to go back and defeat more PCoI, if not, you'll have enough to the next step:
    5. Use Blood Soaked Scoria to revive bosses from Tower of Mirth and Sagiv/Ngotraimuucs.
    Not all bosses will drop, only choose from Tower of Mirth and beyond, around ~10.
    Although you don't have to, you can reset the world to get the necessary amount, but keep in mind that every amount given to Violet Pepper before will be lost, and bosses that already dropped won't drop again after the reset.
๐•ฝ๐–Š๐–’๐–”๐–›๐–Š๐–‰:
Some achievements got removed since I last edited, so I'll keep it here.
There were other achievements removed that are not listed.

  • Aileni - It's a village right on the end of the game, you can reach it after defeating Flesh Colossus in Annora's Rise.
    Although the location still exists, the village is abandoned now. Before you could buy some scrolls that may help you.

    Remember: No achievements will be granted if you use Manual Seed!

I added few details here and there, and quotes from the beta, but I'm not sure if I keep it or make a separate "guide" only about lore.
