The fastest method to unlock EXTRA: XXI - Wandering the Jet Black is: limit your weapons to 1, make sure to get Hollow Heart at some point, take damage until health boost activates, regen health to full and repeat a few times, get Metaglio Left now max out Hollow Heart and Metaglio Left

or you could get the victory sword (banish most other weapons) and the arcana ix - divine bloodline. add hollow heart on top and it happens very fast
