The lightweight combat unmanned aerial vehicle, codenamed "Arachnida"


Armament and firepower:
Arachnida's primary armament is a 30-millimeter automatic cannon, originally designed for naval vessels. This gun can fire both explosive and armor-piercing rounds, making it effective against both infantry and lightly armored targets. Combined with its high rate of fire and accuracy, the Arachnids' weapon system makes it indispensable in dynamic combat environments.



Design and safety systems:
The robot's appearance resembles that of a spider, reflecting its balance between agility and stability. It has four powerful and durable legs, which provide it with excellent cross-country capabilities over any terrain, including rough and hard-to-access areas. Instead of a traditional arachnid head, the robot has a ballistic shield that protects its Curtain anti-missile system. This system aims to reduce the risk of being hit by guided missiles and other targeted weapons.

Additional optics at the top of the robot's "tower" enhance the operator's or control system's visibility, allowing for precise monitoring of the surroundings. The tower itself is protected by ballistic plates, minimizing the chance of disabling critical systems in combat situations. To provide cover and confusion for the enemy, the robot can deploy smoke grenades for temporary concealment or retreat.
Behind the robot, there are a battery compartment and ammunition compartment. These are the most vulnerable parts of the structure, but they are compensated for by the high maneuverability of the Arachnid. This makes it difficult for opponents to defeat the robot.
Thanks to its advanced design, the Arachnid is able to navigate to remote and difficult-to-access areas, remaining in autonomous operation for up to a week without the need for maintenance.




Applications:
The Arachnid is an ideal combat unit for tasks in urban and difficult terrain that require high mobility and quick adaptation to changing conditions. It can be used for reconnaissance or for offensive missions behind enemy lines, thanks to its autonomous capabilities.
