By Maidehnless
Are you just like me? A nice, affectionate aussie boy whos getting cucked by Bhvr and putting you in Asian servers so you can't game with those cute egirls? If so, I am sorry for your existence. If not, its fine, this guide will still let you decide the server regions you can play on, or blacklist other regions so you NEVER join them!

DOESN'T WORK, MAKING NEW GUIDE SOON
Locating the 'Host' File
1. Open File Explorer
Navigate to:
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc

2. Find the Hosts File
Locate the `hosts` file.

3. Copy to Desktop
Right-click on the `hosts` file, click "Copy."
Go to Desktop and right-click, then paste the Host file twice.

4. Rename Files
Rename one file to `hosts.bk`, this will be your back up Host.
Keep the other as `hosts`.

How to block and join a specific
1. Edit the Hosts File
- Open the `hosts` file (not the backup) in Notepad as Administrator.
- Scroll past all the lines that begin with `#`, as these are comments and won't affect anything.
- To block a server, add this line under the last `#` comment:
127.0.0.1 servername.com

Example to block a server:

2. Blocking All but One Region
- Add entries for all server regions except the one you want to allow.
- This will allow you to join only the desired region, but may result in longer queue times since other regions are blocked.

Saving and replacing
1. Save the Hosts File
After editing, save it, but be cautious not to save it as a .txt file. The new Host file must be named exactly like the original!

2. Replace the Original Hosts File
Copy your edited file to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc, replacing the original hosts file, you will need administrator permission to do this.

3. Flush DNS
Open Command Prompt as Administrator and type:
ipconfig /flushdns
This is optional, but if you dont think it worked, please reset DNS and your PC.

hey big man, this no longer works, i have another alternative however it requires some level of computer know-how. Gimme a little bit and I will drop some code for you to execute in powershell, this scans the public IP ranges from the AWS documents and automatically adds firewall rules blocking access to those IP address.
