M1 = Parry/Block
M2 = Melee (default)
M3 = Aim
M5 = Shoot.
I play Assault a lot so swinging with melee and getting to parry suddenly in the middle of it felt good and quicker with M1.
Aim - Right mouse button
Dodge - Space (holding this to sprint)
Lock on Target - L. Alt (I don't really use it)
Medic stim - 3
Melee - L. Shift
Parry/Block - F
Ping - Middle mouse button (my default for most fps games)
Voice Chat - one of my thumb buttons (I have 6), will probably move it to a pedal.
Weapon switch is unbound, relying on 1 and 2.
Due to this this issue, I'm forced to decide which critical action will be least affected by additional reaction time and relegated to what I would call a 2nd tier or B team key (further away or awkward to press). Not a fan.
I also dislike having to hold down the interaction key for almost everything. It is spoils immersion and is basically an entirely unnecessary localised miniature loading screen that would only make sense on cogitator terminals etc, not opening a loot box or or the silly rock lifting action.
LMB - shoot, RMB - aim
mouse side button - parry
Melee - E
Interact/Execute - X
Lock-on is kinda useless imo and everything else works fine by default, the only issue I ran into is the inability to assign both interaction and executions to the same button despite default controls doing it.
Target lock to mouse5 (forward of regular thumb rest position, but this isnt a feature ive found myself using, ive tried it but it doesnt seem to be for me).
Shift (hold) is sprint, i wish it wouldnt stop sprinting if i let go of W and just strafe a bit while looking around, or at least return to sprinting while shift is still held and i press down W again.
CTRL (hold) is aim. No matter what your binds are i would highly recommend switching aim to hold, it makes so much more sense as just letting off it will let you move quicker again, rather than having to press something once more to do so.
Sprint and Aim are action that are mutually exclusive so having my pinky dedicated to the works well.
I also tried use target lock on MB5 (side mouse button) but in the end never used it
(Tab, Left Shift Default Binding)
Parry - Alt Key
Melee - Middle Mouse Button
Lock on Target - Extra Mouse Buttons
