After the update if the addon fails just unsub then resub to it and that should fix the issue.

After getting 90% of the way done with the swep, I'm unfortunately deciding that I shouldn't release it. The way it looks is just bad compared to the look of my original lantern. And the lighting/shadows wouldn't be that same so, I figured, what's the point if it's just a really bad version of the amnesia lantern swep. Not to mention the other issues with orb in the middle... At least I got more experience out of the attempt lol. I appreciate your comments regardless. <3

Honestly I just forgot... I'll give it a go this weekend but no concrete eta on when I'm going to update the addon.

If you don't then there's that likelihood that someone else will. Hell, I'd even take them just being reskins for the Amnesia Dark Descent or Cry of Fear lanterns on here.

Not sure yet, I've been thinking about it though.

I'll tell you what, when/if I ever figure out how to make the colors for custom lanterns persist through dupes and saves I will definitely update the addon to support it. I'm not re-adding arbitrary lamp colors to get around the issue.

for example, let's have the following lamp colors: yellow, white, blue, red, green and a custom color, as an idea

can you return the base colors of the lamps that were before adding a custom lamp color? that is, let's say we make a couple of different colors (red, blue, green, white) and leave a custom lamp with them?
