General fix:
Method 1:

Head to the game in your steam library, where the "Play" button is. Click on the cog icon -> "Properties..." -> "General" -> Slide the "Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game" option on

Method 2 (if method 1 didn't work):

Head back to "Properties..." And scroll down to "Launch Options". Copy & paste this:
--in-process-gpu
Steam deck fix:
If the general fix method didn't work, try these

Note: There's a fairly common bug where the cursor freezes whilst in desktop mode, upon startup. To unfreeze the cursor, tap on the touchscreen

Method 1:

1. Steam button -> "Power" -> "Switch to Desktop"

2. Load up Touhou: ADiA and press the steam button alongside the right bumper whilst in-game. It should take a screenshot

3. To return to gaming mode, exit steam and double click on the "exit to gaming mode" desktop icon. Screenshots should now work whilst in gaming mode

Method 2 (if method 1 didn't work):

1. Head to the game in your steam library, where the "Play" button is, click on the controller icon to the right

2. "Enable Back Grip Buttons" on -> cog icon for all but the 1 you want to be your screenshot button -> remove command

3. For the one you want to be your screenshot button, click on "Add command"/default input -> "System" -> "Take Screenshot"

Method 3 (if method 1 and 2 didn't work):

1. In gaming mode, Steam button -> "Settings" -> "System" -> "System Update Channel" turn to "Stable"

2. The steam deck will reboot

3. Steam button -> "Settings" -> "System" -> "Software Updates" -> make sure it's up-to-date
Screenshots not displaying as taken fix:
1. (For Steam deck users, PC/laptop users can skip this step) Steam button -> "Power" -> "Switch to Desktop"

2. Open Steam

3. Top left "Steam" button -> Settings

4. ''In Game'' scroll down until you see options to enable notifications and sounds when a screenshot is taken. Slide whichever ones you want on

5. (For Steam deck users, PC/laptop users can skip this step) To return to gaming mode, exit Steam and double click on the "exit to gaming mode" desktop icon

PS: For Steam deck users, I heavily recommend pressing the Steam button (whilst in gaming mode) -> "Settings" -> "Display" -> slide "Schedule Night Mode" on -> "Auto-Enable Between 6AM and 6AM". It's much easier on and healthier for the eyes
