In my opinion maybe you could make a tesla car sometime in the future? <--- That's a suggestion. They're implying you should make something, yes. But they're not pressuring you to do so.
Will you make a Tesla car? <---- That's a request. While indirect, they're mostly meaning for them and want you to make something.
Can <--- Suggesting.
Will <---- Requesting.
