Amalgamation: Aegis Defender Specialization


This mod adds a new Amalgamation tertiary spec called Aegis Defender which utilizes a shield from WotC Ballistic Shields. This spec and most of the abilities derive from the Ballistic Defender class in my [WOTC] Drumax's Class Pack mod which brings a lot more defensive and tank perks from Mitzruti's Perk Pack. The Aegis Defender will allow your soldier to rush in the front lines and hold their defensive position for the squad.

Dependencies:

All the perks come from the perk packs that are required for Amalgamation Classes WOTC.
WotC Ballistic Shields states that Primary Secondaries is required but it can be safely ignored.

Is it known how the shield interacts with the perk that makes low cover count as high cover? Like does the unit with the shield just walk around as if in high cover all the time?

@Saldonas If that is a typo/error, then you need to report it to Mitzruti who is the author of Mitzruti's Perk Pack which that perks comes from. I, myself, have not witnessed any issues with the Aegis Desire perk.

Looks like Aegis Desire doesn't work. A friend looked at the mod and there appears to be a typo in the template where it says "MZSAegisDesireTrigger".

@Vaultwulf The default compatible weapons knife, sword, pistol, sidearm, bullpup and shotgun. Of course, you can go into Config/XComAmalgamation and put a comment in front of the specs you desire. I wanted to make this spec somewhat rare. Good luck Commander!
