Last update after: Employees Rework: Part 1 Patch

• Player slots: 1-16
  
• There is no manual save (you can find about it at the end of the Guide)!
  
• Game has only 1st person view, but if you own the The Cool Pack DLC and use any of the animations on your character you will see that in 3rd view (Patched).

• Enter its name (others will see this name if its public);
  
• Set the visibility (Private, Only Friends, Public) - take care with Public settings, ppl are troll;
  
• Set difficulty from 0 to 10 (0 means less robbers so its ez to make money, 10 is like unplayable because every second customer will rob you). In past difficulty could be selected from 0 to 7, after this Patch (02.10.2024) can select from 0 to 10;
  
• Click on create.

Take care! You cannot change the difficulty level of already existing saves!
Now you can change the already existed saves Difficulty level! Read about in "LOAD & MANAGE STORE + JOIN CODE" category

• Main Menu - Load Store button;
  
• Choose the savegame what you want to play again;
  
• Change the Difficulty level if need;
  
• Set its visibility;
  
• Click on Continue and Play.

EDIT: Maybe my text was not clear about the Difficulty level changing, so:


You can always change the Difficulty level on existed saves! In Load Store menu, select the save what you want to start, there you can change the Difficulty level with the left and right arrows.




-- If something went wrong you can load backups. Simple click on Backups button and select the backup what you want to load.



-- You can delete your save files without deleting them manually from their folder.
-- After selected the "Load Store" menu, you can activate the delete mode at bottom right.
-- If you want to delete a save, simple click on the red "Delete Mode Off" button to enable it, you will be able to delete your save(s) now. If you are done, just click on the "Delete Mode On" button again.



-- You can share the Store's join code with your friends, after loaded the save simple press ESC and there is a button "Copy join code to clipboard" these are only numbers (no URL etc.), just send it to your friends.
-- You can only share the code, if You are done with the Tutorial!
-- If someone shared code with you, read the "JOIN STORE" category.

• You can join to every Public store here;
  
• You can use the Code window at top right side to paste the code what has been shared with you (next click on Join);
  
• You can refresh this window anytime if you click on the refresh button at bottom left;
  
• You can click on "Back" to leave "Join Store" menu.

-- As we can see, Devs gave us a simple and nice Online control panel, what we can use on Friends Only or Public mode.
-- This feature is amazing if we want to block and kick players from our shop who trolling. Or can be use to help someone who cannot move coz of a bug.

on (03.10.2024)



As the Patch says that "Punish players or lazy friends by jailing them, the punish amount is the number of times jailed players will have to click on the door to open it. It can be also used as a way to unstuck players by the host."

The number under the Player name can be set to custom. If you set the number on 60 and click on Punish button, the selected player must click 60 times on the Jail's door to exit the jail room.
The Jail has moved to outside of shop to a new building Patch (02.10.2024).

-- We can now Open and Close our lobby. Press ESC after you loaded in your store, at the top you will see the button:

This feature has arrived with New Products And Snapping Patch (06.11.2024)

-- We can manually set the doors to open, only entrance, only exit and closed.

-- The switch panel is above all the doors, to switch simple Left click on panel


-- Remember that you cannot set to close, or only entrance or only exit all the doors, your store must have minimum

• 1 door open for both sides (open), or
  
• 1 door only entrance and 1 door only exit

so the customers can also come inside and leave.

Snapping Patch (06.11.2024)
Switch between modes via CTRL

- Snap: None

Does nothing, it means free mode.

- Snap: Grid Center

Snap the items to center of grid. I tested with Product Shelf and others, I experiened that its better to use it on bigger objects as on the example screenshot:

Perfectly snap objects to each other (sides and back).

What happened to the Tablet?
Tablet has no function after this Patch (16.10.2024). I removed the Tablet from categories.


This category was detailed before this Patch (16.10.2024), but because I dont really have time to update it, I made it basic.

Franchise Points and Franchise Board

• If you are doing the Tutorial at game start you will get franchise points so you can select a line and start to unlock it via click on its icon. The first one is "Basic Products I" this will grant you to buy new products what you can sell to customers.
  
• After getting more points, you can unlock more perks on the board, that means more buyable/sellable products, employees and other things like the amount of money for recycling
  
• You get points by increasing XP. I have noticed so far that we get XP for selling products and placing certain placable stuff like shelves, etc.
  
• Always check the Franchise Board and use the points what you own

Manager Blackboard
-- You can buy products on market price via. "Product Order" button, also you can rename and recolour your Store via. "Supermarket" button

-- Check IN STORE - Employees for Employee Management!

-- You can close the board with the red X button at bottom right. Patch (15/08/2024)

Product Order
-- There are a lot of categories and products


-- You can see the following three types of coloured icons for the products:

• RED (1st) means that how many you have in your store on product shelves
  
• GREEN (2nd) means that how many you have in your warehouse
  
• YELLOW (3rd) means that how many you have outside at the barriers (you can pick them up and put to Storage shelves in warehouse OR put them to Product shelves inside the store)

-- If you want to buy more products just select the product and click on the + button OR
-- You can buy "category products" with the single + button under the products - this will add 1 pack from all of the products what are inside the selected category to your shopping list


-- We can buy Empty boxes via "Buy empty box" button - this will buy 1 empty box what is labeled with a random product, but contains zero items Patch (09.10.2024)

Expand the Shop and Warehouse
-- Left side from Franchise Board you can see an other Board, there you can unlock more spaces with in-game money (BLUE space: Warehouse; YELLOW space: Shop). The Pink space on the screen is the Jail (read Online Control features)??.



-- Simple click on the correct button "BUY SHOP SPACE" or "BUY STORAGE SPACE"
-- If you expand the shop once you can see that the next level is more expensive than the previous one

Why should i use? I see the products already have prices on product shelves.
You will only be profitable if you do not sell the products at the market prices, but rather raise their prices (but you must not set their prices too high, because the customers will not buy them).
Market prices change every Thursday due to inflation, so you should check the prices of all displayed products on the shelves.


How to use the Pricing Device? Can I reset some lines on a shelf?
-- Take one from Manager Room and go to a shelf what contains any product(s), simple look on the product(s) and scroll with mouse - you can hold the button E to scroll faster. If you selected the price, just do a Left click. Or you can use the numpad if you have it, to set price. I use numpad because its easier to me.
-- To reset products on a shelf, first empty the selected space and look on it via Pricing Device, now you can press Right Click to reset the line or a whole shelf. After this your employees will ignore the reseted line / shelf. You can add other products or leave it empty.

-- Devs added a feature in a Patch (11.09.2024), storage shelves will remember to last placed products.
-- Same way to reset stored products in warehouse, first empty space and Right click via Pricing Device.

What is this for?
You can use it to change the price of any product, rather than having to go to each product on the shelves to set the price with the Pricing Device.

-- Broom is your best friend in this game,

-- Can take it to your hands via Left click,
-- Can hit the customers and other players with it,
-- You can use the Broom to clean the shop (trash on floor) Left click,
-- You can hit the Shoplifters to take back products that they try to steal (products on floor) Left click,
-- If you use them Broom on dropped products, you will get their set prices back.

How can I recognize shoplifters? What can I do against them?

-- Shoplifters are characterized by the icon above their head, also they are running when they want to leave the shop.



-- As soon as you see the icon, you can start hitting them with the broom.
In this case, all the goods they want to steal fall to the ground (dont ask how 5 beer kegs fit in a shoplifter... I DO NOT want to know).


-- As soon as the goods fall to the ground, simply click on them with the broom to get their prices back.

The Security System has arrived with the CCTV + Surveillance Desk Update (20.11.2024)

-- Inside the Builder Menu under Devices subcategory you can buy:

• Security Camera - Costs: $180,
  
• Security Desk - Costs: $5000

-- You must have the Security Desk to manage cameras (I tried to place it in the store and outside too, I only could place it inside the Warehouse - will be updated if changed.)

-- At top right side you can click on the placed cameras (yellow icons) OR use the left and right arrows to switch between them. Press the red X button to leave camera view.


-- To force the customers to pay click on them more times to get a Green Checkmark above their heads, if you see a Red Face icon above their heads after you clicked on them this means that the selected customer wanted to steal, but now should pay at checkouts.

Buy products on Manager Blackboard (I already described how it works above)

Where are my products what i bought?
These are will be next to street at the barriers. You can pick them up via. Left click and store them to Warehouse or place them to Product shelves

How to place the products on Product Shelves?
Take a box what contains products, go to a Product shelf, choose its place and use Left click. You can HOLD Left click to be faster. If you want to remove some products or empty a shelf just take an empty box and use the RIGHT click

Have some product in the box but you dont have more place on Product Shelves?
Just put the box to a Storage Shelf in Warehouse (Left click)



-- This patch changed the Storage Shelves. From now, the Storage Shelves will note that what kind of product was on them before. If you want to empty space, you should do it with the Pricing Device (right click) as the same on Product Shelves.



What should I do with empty boxes?
Just throw them to a container outside of Manager Room,



or cross the street and throw them to the other type on container and earn some money back by recycling them. The price by recycling can be increased with a perk



-- You can throw down filled and empty boxes too, simple press F
-- You can buy Empty boxes via Manager Blackboard Patch (09.10.2024)

Employees Rework: Part 1 (Patch 19.12.2024)

and Recycling what is a common task (Perk)


My employees are bugged, they dont move etc. what should I do?
1.) Set them to "no task" and re-assigning again (comment! thx for info),
2.) Hit them with broom, sometimes it helps (comment! thx for info),
3.) If you cant fix them, do game restart.

-- Customers will put the products they want to buy on the conveyor belt. You just need to click on them to "check in the products into the machine" I dont know how to say it in English xD



-- Customers can pay via Credit Card or with Cash.

-- If they pay with Card, just type in the correct number in front of you (after a patch: now we can use numpad! Thank you Devs, I LOVE U ♥) You can also use numpad to set the correct price and backspace if you made a mistake

-- If they pay with Cash use the cash register (right or left side, depends what type you bought), set the correct number of change with Left or Right click on money. Left click means add, Right click means remove in this case.



-- Now we are able to open or close the checkouts via Left click on the sign, but if there were customers in lane, we must serve them Patch (25.09.2024)

At top left corner:
- Store's Money ($277,500.60),
- Day counter (57th day),
- Time of day (22:30, Monday),
- Shop's Level (lvl 63)

- Times robbed, means that how many shoplifters robbed your store successfully**
- Franchise experience, means that how many XP you gained on this working day
- Money lost because robbers, means stolen products prices

**I said "successfully", because maybe there were more shoplifters, but you catched them and took back the stolen products (prices).



You can see on the included screenshot, only my friend hit the shoplifters with broom. I only used the checkout, and restock products. Also, we restocked the shop before we pressed on the Stop button, thats why our Day Balance looks bad.

-- From 08:00 to 22:29 you will CANNOT do any manual save about your gameplay! Also, in this time scale there is no Auto-save!



-- Inside Manager Room you can Open or Close the store by clicking on the Green or Red button on the wall:

• Green button does - Open the store at 08:00 (NO GAME SAVING),
  
• Red button does - Close the store, shows the daily statistics and SAVE YOUR GAME at 22:30.

-- The new day will start from 08:00 in the morning and will end at 22:30 at night (patched: If reached 22:30 there will be no new customers in shop, you can finish the day and close the shop with the red button on the wall);
-- After the day ends (at 22:30) you are able to Save the game manually with the Red button, but You cannot use the Red button if 22:30 not reached yet.

-- If you leave the game before 22:30 reached + close the shop via red button, session will be not saved!

-- Can choose character and customize it, there are a lot of nice hats to use,
-- Can set a lot of animations to keybinds (Patched: now we can see our animation(s) in 3rd view while used),

URL Video - You can copy and paste an URL here (.mp4 format yet) and click on the arrow at right side to play it. You can also play videos (.mp4 yet) from your physical computer if you enter its path correct.
- Example: I have a video on my desktop, the name is Guide will looks like this to me "C:/Desktop/Guide.mp4".
- Another example: on the image there is a path about a meme video what is located in my Downloads folder.



Browser - Two computers on the table are connected. If you set TVs Control PC to "Browser" mode, the image and sound from the computer on the right will be transmitted to the TVs in your store.

Patch (02.10.2024)
-- Can be found inside the DLC room on the table.


-- You can customize your store now like: paint the walls, change the floor and ceiling materials, there are a lot of textures and colors to use. The only limit is your imagination.


-- Take it to your hands and scroll with mouse to browse materials. If you found that one you wanna use simple do Left click to choose it. For some materials, a color scale is even available, if you have chosen one, select the color by scroll with mouse and do a left click again on the selected color. To paint the floor/walls just do Left click on the highlighted area (may you need to be closer, because of FOV settings.)

On this example screenshot I painted the highlighted area in this room with a nice material in selected dark green color, there is no lamp in this room:
