Opis
The team at Lagrange felt it was right to have the sendoff for the Constellation series be a big one - and this boom is represented by the Columbia, the final Constellation variant. A fully modular mothership of a vessel complete with 20 separate docks for habitation modules, a variety of landing pads, cargo racks, hydrogen racks, and even turrets.

The exceptional quality of this ship is that infinitely more modules can be made by the community and my fellow creators. It'll be a dream come true to see a fully modular ship equipped with an array of different manufacturer's modules all working together.

Just decouple the front ship in the third hotbar in the cockpit (making sure to decouple the connectors) and for docking with the camera, just line it up evenly with the center of the sloped block at the bottom-left of the other half and thrust back into it, it'll merge automatically if the blocks are turned on. The uncolored modules (habitation and hydro/cargo racks) are for you to paint in your own style if you wish!

I really hope y'all enjoy this, it's the final climax of this big series.

Yeah I don't typically add ions but I guess I could take some rudimentary ones into consideration for future builds.

The conveyor situation's odd, I check the ships before I upload them to make sure everything's set up correctly. Did I just misalign a conveyor, or are they completely disconnected?

I'm liking the design so far. Started building one in survival. 2 small issues so far. About 8 of the o2/h2 generators in the forward section are not hooked up to the conveyor system. I dug in there and one one side there was one misaligned and on another had to replace an armor block with a conveyor and rearrange several to get everything hooked up.
Second thing is it would be nice if the forward section at least had a pair of small ions in each direction for maneuvering. split the for and aft sections in creative and made individual blueprints to make printing easier and found I couldn't maneuver once disconnected from the printer. Had to hand load some ice to get the hydro up and running. Thats just a small nitpick thought, I like having a couple ion thrusters for docking even on predominantly hydrogen powered ships.

As long as you link the mods for people to use with the tag "modded" in the title to make scrolling easier, i'll put it in the collection :)

Would you be willing to add modded weapons as modules? I have some from the AWP that work well, like the 1000mm lances that could turn a Columbia into a mobile shelling platform, ready to publish. I sadly was unable to get the custom turrets functional, as I couldn't find a good spot for the CTC

Go ahead :) the whole point of the Columbia, as stated in the description, was to let the community build modules for it.

Fair, would it be alright if I popped em off and made them myself? I run a server with the subgrid projection plugin so people can print em.

Ahhhh, you mean the custom turrets? I didn't make those into modules or put them on the base ship because that prevents printing in survival.

Here's another idea that sprang to mind: custom turrets like on the sides and underside of the krait flight II
