Origin Dragon is a brute-force creature that is brutal in close-quarters combat. However, do not expect a powerful flier despite those large wings: Origin Dragon is a terrible flier, especially when compared to its relatives, the Wyverns. The idea is that the Wyverns exceed it in the air in every way, while on land, the Origin Dragon uses its impressive bulk and strength to push stand up to almost any threat. This is a late-game flier that'll really reward you for getting your hands on one!

• Has an implant saddle at lvl 95, base 25 armor
  
• While the Origin Dragon boasts high base stats, it has ***no*** nerfs on tame and no botched stat leveling, like vanilla wyverns. However, it does gain *slightly* less stamina per level when tamed compared to normal creatures (0.08 compared to usual 0.1).
  
• Origin Dragons are slightly faster on land than in the air, and they use less stamina when on land.
  
• Immunity to knockback and fire damage
  
• When on land, Origin Dragons gain the ***Bulked*** buff, which decreases incoming damage by 15%, helping them properly tank targets as the high-HP, high-damage brawler they're meant to be.
  
• When in the air, this swaps to the **Flight Manager** buff. They gain no increased resistance, but drain 35 units of stamina per sec at all times, making their flight time drastically shorter compared to other fliers. This is intended, as Origin Dragon is supposed to be a poor dogfighter. Think of it less as "A strong flier" and more "A land creature with short-distance flight".
  
• Taming rates are similar to Mosa: come prepared with a lot of food, especially its best kibble, Extraordinary.
  
• An inventory that reduces the weight of all mineral resources to 60%.
  
• Left click: Bite. Base 90 damage, attack speed similar to rex or wyvern.
  
• Right click: Flame breath. Base 175 stamina cost, cannot be used with insufficient stamina. Has a 10 second cooldown. This breath attack is very powerful, with projectiles having base 40 damage (fire wyvern is 25), intended for sudden burst damage.
  
• C Key: Claw attack. Base 60 damage. Harvest metal similar to Ankylosaurus, can only be used on land.
  
• X Key (Prone): Wing Attack. Base stamina cost of 125, can only be done on land, cannot be used with insufficient stamina. Flap wings twice, dealing 60 damage per hit and dealing large amounts of knockback with each hit. A great AoE attack for clearing out pests and great for crowd control. Cooldown of 5 seconds.
  
• Left Ctrl (Alt Fire): Aesthetic roar.

These species seem to be the "ancestor" to the vicious and supernatural, seasonal Dodorex. While not as large or as terrifying, Dodospondylus are powerful mounts. Surprisingly quick, they are also durable and physically powerful. Anybody wanting a medium-sized mount with the potential to be a "jack of all trades" should see about this dinosaur.
