i always knew a sub 3'40 was possible but having achieved it now i'm pretty sure this can go sub 3'30. this run has some good moveset rng and the dogs probably did a lot of damage since chammy spent most of the later half of this run stuck in a corner. i dropped hellfire cloak from the set i used int he last run and replaced it with more element resistance decos. the hellfire topple cc wasn't that strong whilst the extra damage proved to be significant.

i make a mistake at 1:45. i should have been aware that the guard point would have head toppled chammy, since its head threshold would have been locked at 1 after the poison nova at 1:30 (during this nova animation chammy's part breaks and hp can't go below 1). if i head toppled him with the axe hit of SAED instead, i would have had enough time to properly land a second SAED. instead i make a second mistake by rushing the second SAED at 1:56 - if i just did a morphing advance and then aimed the SAED properly i would have probably landed all my phials.

there are a handful of other phials that i miss throughout the run but in the end i don't actually think all these missed phials cost me any extra time. even if i had landed all these phials earlier, i wouldn't have had enough damage to kill chammy before it did the second poison nova at 3:20. and even if i technically had enough damage to kill chammy during this move, it would have just been locked to 1 hp, and i still would have needed the final SAED to kill it.
