Okay... let's get this out of the way.  I've added so many mods from the Nexus to Dragon's Dogma 2 so far that some parts of the game are nigh unrecognisable from their original form.

In particular now, the combat is a lot faster-paced since I've got a few options for both mobility and animation-cancelling that make it less of a slow-arse clunky mess than the vanilla game...  SO here are a few of them I used in this video:

*Lock-On Combat with Dodge* by alphaZomega

While the lock-on feature itself is occasionally useful, the real gem in this mod is the dodge option, which adds the Thief vocation's special feature to all classes, and it can be configured to work in mid-air too (which I do)...

This one adds levitation as an option for vocations that don't wield staves without interfering with vanilla Levitation options, and also adds the Concussive Step wall-jump feature from Thieves (again) to all vocations.  If you set the activation button to the same as Lock-On's Dodge button, the two trigger simultaneously and the result is quite impressive, as I showed in the video. 
It is worth noting that I use version 1.2 since the 1.3 update changed it in ways that aren't really helpful to me...

*Fall Damage Manager* by SilverEzredes

Simply put, it lets you fiddle all the numbers related to fall damage in the game, and save presets.  I've vastly increased the height requirement for taking damage and considerably reduced the damage taken, otherwise jumping across the world would burn through my wakestones at an insane pace.

This one speeds up animations.  Particularly combat animations, though the settings can be tweaked somewhat.   The vanilla settings are quite fast, so I downscaled it to just 1.5, which seems to be a sweet spot where everything is faster without being unmanageable.

*Mouse Wheel Camera Distance* by emoose

Just a simple mod that lets me zoom the camera out with the mouse wheel.  I play the game with controller, but the mouse is right there, so I can zoom the camera out when I want to.  It doesn't change things like the spell-aim camera, but it still gives me far better visibility of my surroundings.

ANYWAY...  I'll mention more mods some other time.  This bunch are working quite well for me right now.   
And please remember this is an ongoing playthrough, despite my rather inconsistent naming style and thematic stuff... and this video covers Glyndwr's questline with his father and sister in the Ancestral Chamber,  so please stick with it for the long haul and go back to watch the earlier videos if you haven't already!
