Introduction
This guide will walk you through easily setting up the HAVENGERS Clone Engine Tournament Build[www.nexusmods.com] modpack, which, at the time of writing, contains 59 palette swap characters, new alts, Color Expansion Kit, Damage Counter Restored and, optionally, custom UI/BGM/Stages.

This modpack was made solely for PvP, there is no guarantee offline stuff like Arcade Mode will work with modded characters (I played through with Asura, Lilith, and Evil Ryu with no crashes but I've heard a lot of them don't work.)

Do keep in mind that this modpack is not compatible with other modpacks.

Reinstalling UMVC3
While it might not be necessary, I'd recommend completely uninstalling UMVC3 for a clean build.

Navigate to the game in your Steam Library, click the Gear Icon > Manage > Uninstall

Then click the Gear Icon > Properties

Click on Installed Files > Browse...

Once in the folder, click Common

Once in Common, right-click on Ultimate Marvel VS. Capcom 3 and Move to Trash

Navigate back to the game in your Steam Library and click Reinstall.
Modpack Download
Navigate to the Nexus Page for the mod[www.nexusmods.com] and decide which version you want.

Under Main Files is the standard download containing everything.

Under Optional Files is the Bare Bones Version, which doesn't include changes to the UI/Stages/BGM

Click Manual Download > Slow Download on whichever out of the 2 you want.

Modpack Setup
Once the download finishes, dump all the files into your game's root folder, which you can find by navigating to UMVC3 in your Steam Library then clicking the Gear Icon > Properties > Installed Files > Browse...

Once finished, your game folder should look something like this

Navigate back to the game in your Steam Library and click Gear Icon > Properties

Under General > Launch Options, copy and paste WINEDLLOVERRIDES="dinput8.dll,CloneEngine.asi,ColorExpansion.asi=n,b" %command%

If all went well, you should be finished.
Modded Character Movesets
Back on the Nexus Mod Page, under Optional files, there is a PDF showcasing the movesets.

This doesn't work for me. IDK why, I have everything in my folder that you do, except for 'imgui.ini' since it wasn't in the nexus download. I copy/pasted the thing for Launch Options. Any ideas of how I can get it to work?

Yep. If you try to use it online against people who don't have the mod, the game will just desync and crash. If both players have the same version of the mod, you should be able to play like normal.

Question: Is it safe to use?
